"I’m happy with the end project. The reason it’s 4 stars and not 5, is due to some service delays and unexpected installation errors (which were addressed quickly and fairly). The overall quality of the work completed is quite good, and I’m happy to be able to actually use my backyard now. They were able to regrade my backyard and install artificial turf within a fair price and warranty."

"We got lots of estimates to install an irrigation system and landscape lighting. When I met with Joe he was not interested in selling me equipment but spent the time going over what we actually needed....especially for landscape lighting. His approach was great, he came up with a solution for our watering needs and a simple version for the landscape lighting since we weren't sure how much light we wanted.....Once we see it, if we want more highlighting it could easily be added.....which we did on 2 other occasions. His workers too great care of my property and when they had a question about location of sprinkler head they came and discussed it with me before moving forward. One of the best contractor experiences we have had. Almost forgot...we have a collection area where all the underground pipes disperse water from our gutters. That was always full of water when Joe mentioned that the pip wasn't done correctly....since he had the equipment and the machinery already on the property he took care of that for me. Even with this wet spring we have not seen any signs of water from the collection area overflowing. I've already referred them to many neighbors since everyone loves the landscape lighting."

"Called to get estimate to replace sprinkler conrol box. Beau gave estimate over the phone, was able to replace box right away, instructed us how to use new controls. Since he was so professional, we asked for estimate to replace broken section of our system. He gave reasonable estimate, did the work quickly. We were so pleased with his efficiency that we used his service to open and close our system until we moved. Recommended him to our home buyers. <br />"

"The lawn had silted up along one side of my house, so I needed the grading improved.  Ryan was professional and easy to talk to during the estimate, and I was pleased when he suggested laying stone alongside the foundation.  I wasn't sure it would fall within my budget, so he kindly worked up a "with" and "without" estimate for me.  I went with "with" and am very pleased with the result.  Ryan and his team worked quickly and efficiently, and even cut back a tree overhanging the driveway that I hadn't been able to reach.  I'm satisfied with their work and would definitely consider them for future landscaping jobs. <br />"

"Have used them before for routine heating and A/C maintenance, which they do well. They also tried to install a new thermostat in a different location, but were unable to because of the way the house is built. instead, they will install a wireless thermostat. <br />"

"Our pebble drive way was completely replaced with pavers and excellent draining system. The walk way up to the house was newly installed with landscaping on either sides. More landscaping and the side and the back yard were also renovated. These areas now have a beautiful garden appearance. Many neighbors have stopped and complemented on the excellent work done by the company. And now even in the winter time our property is truly magnificent. The workers at every stage of the process were hard working and conscientious and extremely knowledgeable about plants, grasses, bushes, trees, and flowers. Now we are looking forward to seeing the flowers coming up in the spring."

"When I met with the owner Marty and his foreman Lino, I explained to them exactly what I was looking to achieve.  I wanted pavers installed three high in a running pattern.  I let them know that the reason for this was to allow water to drain through them. And to avoid grass getting into the flower beds. <br /> I meet with them twice, because they wanted to make sure they understood what I wanted.  I asked Marty if he would be on the job or at least supervising the work. I distinctly told them that they needed to follow the different heights of the property and that what I wanted was just a border three pavers high.  Not to be concerned with leveling the pavers.  Guaranteed that he would be supervising.   <br /> He scheduled the date, I did not.   I distinctly took off from work to be home on the start date to make sure that all was understood. <br /> Because of one ran day it seemed to totally throw off their schedule. Which I could have understood.  So they sent Pedro to start the job.   <br /> Problem number one - Pedro speaks absolutely no English.  Problem number two - Marty was on vacation so was not available to supervisor the job, Lino his foreman discussed the job with Pedro instead, then left him alone.  Pedro dug out the ground to be level.  Then laid down the pavers. First he forgot to lay down the modified stone.  He also was not told that I did not expect the pavers to be leveled, but to follow the contour of the property.  Again this was just a garden border.  So areas that were dug out now needed to be five high and not the three I wanted.  So he had to remove what he did and lay the modified stone down. Couldn't do anything about digging down too deep.  Called Lino to discuss this with Pedro. He stopped over, talked to Pedro, then left. <br /> Day two.  Only Pedro again, and again a problem with direction.  Again call Lino, again remove the pavers laid down incorrectly. <br /> Day three - Only Pedro again, and again a problem with trying to do a running pattern. Was laying the stone with ends all in a vertical row.  Marty is now back from vacation, but he forgot it was the Jewish holiday.  Both him and his foreman Lino were unable to meet with me. So had to have Pedro stop the job. <br /> Day four - Not able to meet with Marty and Lino until after 5:30.  Was not about to take any more time off of work because of their schedule. <br /> Day five - Finally the work is completed by Pedro. <br /> Come home from work to see that he still did not get the running pattern correct.  Also that he ran out of stone, even though I purchased 200 more that expected. Because of all the errors. He laid a semi cut piece in an area that is noticeably.  Of course I will now have to plant something there to hid it.  Doable, but should not have been necessary. <br /> I do not blame Pedro at all.  He worked harder than he really needed to.  But because Marty did not supervisor as he specified and that Lino was too busy to stay around, or at least have someone with Pedro that understood fully what I wanted. The problem with communication was actually a joke.   <br /> Would never recommend this company to anyone.  Could have been great, but  really bad on getting things done correctly. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Pennsburg, PA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
