"The technician came out, assessed the problem and fixed it. My frost proof faucet froze during the winter and the pipe burst. It appeared the vacuum breaker may have gotten clogged and the water did not drain out of the faucet causing it to freeze and burst. The tech had to cut into the basement ceiling to get to the pipe and unfortunately the heating/AC ductwork was in the way so he had to cut another whole. An honest mistake. These older houses don't have shutoffs or access panels for plumbing. The tech fixed the faucet then went to my other faucet and rebuilt it so it would work and not freeze up. He did that on his own initiative. So my faucets are good to go and I am much more secure in knowing my faucets should be okay. He did a great job and was a good guy.

"After seeing a coupon and reading some reviews on Angie's list, I called Paul at 8:00am after the refrigerator had not been working for the past 24 hours. He returned my call by 9:00am and set an appointment time between 11:00am and 1:00pm. He arrived on time. He tested several parts of the fridge and explained that the problem was with the defroster thermometer. Went to purchase the new part and replaced it. I was so pleased that he actually returned my call in a timely manner, arrived at the appointed time, and explained exactly why the fridge wasn't working. He was friendly and the price was very fair. We will keep his business card handy for any other repairs we need."

"John, owner of Improvement Pros, and his team recently finished a kitchen remodel for us. Although we kept the same layout, the cabinets, counters, kitchen sink, and backsplash were all replaced. His team also added crown molding and trim on the soffit to help it blend in with the cabinets. John is very good about keeping in touch throughout the project, so we usually knew what to expect day-to-day. The project did run longer than expected, but that was because one of his employees took a job overseas and quit without advanced notice. If that wouldn’t have happened, the job would have been finished as expected. To make up for that delay, John worked on a Saturday and gave us a small discount on the overall price. He also strived to make sure that my husband and I were both satisfied with the end results. Not happy about a tile? He’ll fix it. Cabinet doors look just a little off to you? He’ll straighten them. At the end of a project, he asks for honest feedback because he wants to keep improving his business. "Service went exceptionally well. The plumbing company I used for many years went out of business, so I called Advantage after reviewing their ratings on Angie's List. Advantage was very nice and helpful from my phone call through the service call. I could not be more pleased with the work and the technician. Initial call was for leak under master bath sink. When we went to the basement to turn off the water we discovered a split pipe above my hot water heater. The technician was able to fix that issue in short order along with the master bath leak. I am so pleased he was able to do that repair in the same visit rather than having to set another appointment. I will use Advantage from now on."
