"I had kitchen plugs that quit working, and with my limited knowledge, I could see that a breaker didn't go all the way 'on' after attempting to reset it. Within 15 minutes of requesting a bid on Angi, I had a phone call and as Jordan wasn't far away on another job, he came by soon after and did the work - and even helped me with a garage light I thought was dead but he simply needed to replace the dud 'new' bulb I had put in. All of this was within an hour and a half of putting in my bid request! Electrical repair isn't cheap, but the quote was fair and was exactly what I paid. Jordan was so pleasant and helpful, as was the person who originally called me and set everything up. Swihart Electric is the best, and I will call them again if I need electrical work. I would highly recommend them."

"First repairman got unit started by replacing capacitor and a switch. I asked him to check the coolant level and he said it was fine. 3 days later I had them back because although running it was not cooling. The new guy discovered that it was almost empty of refrigerant. He tightened a valve which he suspected of leaking. I am still not sure how we got from completely fine to empty. The second and I think more senior tech took the time to check out the entire system. They were quick to respond and eventually fixed it. Thought price was high at almost $1,000 for both visits.They were professional and communicative."

"I was having a problem with my electrical panel the power keep flickering so I called Chris he came out the same day he drove all the way to Marysville and told me my whole panel needed to be replaced, needed to get a permit from PG&E so they came out the next day told me the main breaker needed replacing right away so I called Chris he came back out replaced the breaker even checked the rest of the breakers, clean the post and was done in about 10 minutes he even didn't charge me for the first time he came out. I would recommend Chris he is very courteous he arrives on time he will let you know if he's going to be late he is very affordable all around great guy."

Ask Angi for help, 4 people responded but the one who responded and answered all my questions was Simeon from Golden Valley Electrical. He quoted me a reasonable price and was willing to work the next day so i picked him. He came on time , we talked on what i wanted to happen and we agreed on how to tackle it. Wife loves how the end results was. Will definitely call him again if I need any other electrical work on my house."

"A technician arrived at the appointed time and easily diagnosed the problem. I had purchased the unit and had it installed 6 years prior by another company but I couldn't recall if it was still under warranty. The tech did some research and found out it was under warranty and rather than charging me for more than $49 service call, suggested I call the original installing company, since that might save me money with labor, stating he would gladly do the repair if that was my preference. I did decide to call the installer, and that was the right decision since it was a problem with a part they had already replaced for me, they had had the same problem with other units from the manufacturer. I am confident my house will be cool this summer, that's all that counts, right? Even though Huft didn't do my repair, they showed professionalism with helping me come up with the right solution and help me safe money in the process."
