"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "We hired S&S Home repair to replace two window sills in our house and they quoted a fair price for the work. It turned out that the wood below one of the sills had water damage and a third sill had water damage. The job required more work than expected. S&S assessed the problem, quoted a new price, purchased additional materials, and replaced all the damaged wood. S&S used pressure-treated wood, beveled the sills so water would drain, installed the sills with precision, and sealed them with caulk. While in our home S&S acted professionally and courteously, and cleaned up when they were finished. We recommend S&S for general home repair."
