"It went great. After we agreed to a style (had I bet 70 - 100 to choose from) their measurement man arrived as scheduled. He was fantastic (his name is Brian). When he found that the old counter had spacing between it and the wall, he realized that the outside wall was not perfect. So he went to his truck and returned with material to create a model for the new counter. He did not hurry and in fact was meticulous with sizing and calculations. He was also cordial and professional thoughout. He suggested the single piece again (the salesperson, Dennis, was the first to suggest this technique). <br /> <br /> The counter and the setup people arrived on time on the date selected. Steve was the central setup person and was excellent. He took everything out with the salesperson - Dennis - as his assistant. The single unit fit perfectly! There was no need for any trim as the old counter had (that trim had covered the spacing between the wall and the old counter). Steve was also an excellent plumber as he insisted that the plumbing to the new sink be perfect. <br /> <ol> <li>My wife and I are very pleased with the new counter and the professional job done putting it in! We will call Dennis immediately if we ever need to do more.</li> </ol>"

"Okaw Valley Woodworking were consumate professionals.  They provided excellent work, and the quality of my project confirmed all the high praise and recommendations I had heard prior to hiring them.  Merv and his entire company staff and workers were the most professional subcontractors on my project.  Merv met with me and quickly gained an accurate understanding of the details I wanted.  Even my special requests (e.g., pull-out spice drawers on both sides of the stove top; pet drawer in the toe kick of the kitchen island for stashing pet toys, etc.) were included in the project without any issue.  They were insightful, patient, honest, and creative.  They arrived with the finished cabinety right on time and it was perfect.  Even when the the contractor and electrician damaged the cabinetry during installation, Okaw returned to repair the damage without additional cost.  The finished project was exactly as I had envisioned and the quality was worth every penny.  Perfectly designed with fit, full length pull-out drawers, dividers for cutlery, soft closures, high quality easy to clean finishes... I was truly impressed with their work.  I highly recommend them for any cabinety work no matter how large or small.  They are professional artisans that we are fortunate to have in our area."

"We visited their showroom where they have many beautiful samples to choose from.  They also have options in sinks, edge contours, and even tile.  We chose our granite and placed the order.  When the slab arrived, they called us to take a look at it and make sure that we were happy with it.  Somehow it was actually even more beautiful than we expected from the sample!  Once our new cabinets were installed, they came out to measure and cut the template for the counter. <br /> It took about 2.5 weeks for them to cut and prepare the granite and then to come install it.  The installation was very smooth.  Through the whole process the staff was great to work with- very helpful and professional.  The end result is amazing and we are thrilled with the results. <br /> The cost was better than what we found elsewhere, and surprisingly just a few hundred dollars above what we were quoted for laminate from one of the big box stores. <br />"

"Went into the showroom with an estimate of square footage needed for my countertops. Based on what I provided, I was given a quote and they stated that this could change slightly based on the final measurement. Final measurement was quick and no issues, price did not change. Usually it is 2 weeks after your final measurement, but if you are w/out a sink, they will bump it up by a week. I went out to the yard the weekend they were cutting to see the pieces, which all looked great. Installation included 4 men who came and installed 5 pieces in just about an hour. <br /> One piece of advice I would give is that my quote included the standard edge, and I wanted a "half bullnose", which they consider custom and and extra 20%. While this was an unforseen added expense I blame myself just as much Luther Falls because I did not specify what I wanted. Learned my lesson there. <br />"
