"Being a retired plumber, I always snaked out our sewer main myself. Unfortunately I ruptured my lower three lumbar discs several years ago, and can no longer perform this task. I have an older home with clay a sewer line going from my house to the street, and with a large tree in the yard I need to have someone auger out the line at the very least every 18 months to clear out the tree roots that get into the hubs (connections). I wasn't sure who to call because my drain cleaner for several years retired. So I decided to check Home Advisor, I started reading the reviews for Superior Drain & Jetting. It was around 10:30pm on Sunday night, Robert called me at 10:45pm & scheduled a time for the next morning. Robert did an excellent job, was very friendly & professional. He showed up on time, took care of the plugged sewer main, and ran the snake back and fourth a few extra times to make sure that there would be no problems in the near future. I will be hiring Robert to come back to Hydro-Jet the main to further clean, & rinse the main from any dirt, sludge, etc. that remains in the sewer, So I can rest easier knowing that I shouldn't go downstairs to find a backup. I wanted to add one more thing, and that is there are a few crooked Drain cleaners in town that will tell their customers they have a crack, break, or collapse in their main, and that it needs to be excavated and repaired with PVC, which will cost several thousands of dollars. Robert did not try to pull that nonsense with me, and I appreciate his honesty, it is very much like an Auto Mechanic telling their customers that they need to repair/replace something on their car that doesn't need it."

"The serviceman arrived and went promptly to work. He even called the City of Colorado Springs in order to determine some necessary information regarding my connection to the main sewer line. My home was built in 1904 and there is actually no plat for my house to the city line. He explained everything in a very understandable manner and performed the services needed. "First off--this was my worst nightmare come true.  Coming down into my basement, I found water everywhere, and a window well filled with water--water was dripping through the ceiling and lightfixtures, through the window and gushing outside the slats of the house (back into the house through the window).  It was very traumatic.  I quickly went on Angie's List and saw the 1800 Water Damage number with the good reviews and called.  I couldn't even speak because I was so panicked but the gentleman on the other end was so understanding and nice and just quickly sent a team...on New Year's Eve at 2pm. It took them about 20 minutes to get here--by then the water subsided because I turned off the main water valve.  They recommended one of their plumbers (Hermann's Plumber--I highly recommend this team) who also came out on this holiday.  Due to the strange construction of the house, they couldn't find the source of the water break, but they persisted until they found it.  They also uncovered the not so small fact that my brand new windows were put in incorrectly leaving a good inch of space between the house and window which most likely contributed to the problem.  They needed to tear down the entire wall and half of the ceiling.  They took away tons and tons of water, they ripped up the padding, carpeting, baseboards (even leading into the next room because the water started seeping in there) and placed a bunch of fans around the house and dehumidifier.  They took apart my bedroom furniture and carried it off into another room.  They even called to check on things, and came back to check and adjust.  This was a 2 week process just to dry things out.  They provided me with recommendations for the renovations, with whom I was pleased with.  Katie was the office manager and she was the one doing a majority of the work--she was such a great person to work with.  Very hardworking and conscientious.  Everything was cleaned up.  Now they will come back to put my furniture back together which I am so grateful for.  For something this much of a disaster, they made the process very smooth and should this ever happen again (I pray not), I have their card handy because I will definitely use them again.  I just felt so bad for them having to do this into the night on New Year's Eve and they NEVER showed any type of disgruntledness--they were very professional at all times.  These people work HARD. <br />"

"Juan, and his daughter/apprentice, answered my call at 6:30 am and after he got done with his previously scheduled job, showed up and got right to work. They were respectful of property, friendly, and snaked out our spruce tree root-infested sewer line for the listed price of $179. More expensive than some of the advertised prices around town, but comparable to two other plumbers I've had out to do the same work. Then they repaired a busted PVC main sprinkler line that had been hit by a lawnmower. As part of the repair he buried the new horizontal line to protect it from further lawnmower abuse."
