"The job was supposed to be taken care of in one day. It ended up taking 4 days after we requested that the job be done correctly. Work crew was supposed to arrive at 9:00 and did not show up until 11:00. We asked the crew to repair the few items that we discussed with the owner and they did not know about it. They “finished” the job and that evening we were able to see out the our upstairs bedroom window that sections of the leaf guard were not there and a section was not attached. We called and the crew was to show up first thing in the morning. When they showed up at 3:30 my husband requested photos of all the gutters from the roof to make sure it was all done completely. There was a full section of the back of our house where there was no leaf guard attached at all. They also did not have enough wood for the trim and not enough leaf guard to repair that day. It was finally done and done well 4 days later, but it took a lot of follow up and double checking. The foreman was very apologetic, but I was upset that it took us finding an small error and we would have not even known about the large section of leaf guard that was not installed."

"I found Dave's Carpentry on Angie's List and called to schedule an estimate on some work that needed done due to theft of copper in a vacant house.  I was surprised when Dave actually answered the phone while he was on another job site, because I had called several of his competitors in the days before and left messages and none of them returned phone calls to me until 3 or 4 days later, so actually getting to talk to someone right away, I knew he and his company would handle my repairs professionally. <br /> Dave came out the next day and gave me the estimate for the ceiling in the basement that needed a total replacement, due to the HVAC and copper being stolen from the house.  The house was vacant and in the middle of a real estate sale pending, so the work needed to be done soon and for a reasonable price.  Dave's carpentry was very reasonable with the pricing and completed the job that week.  You could never tell that the ceiling had been replaced, because it matched the existing ceiling so well.  Dave went above and beyond his quote for just the drywall ceiling replacement and he actually went ahead and painted the ceiling at no extra charge.  He provided detailed estimates for this job that had to be turned into the insurance company for a claim on the repair, and then once the repair was completed he provided a great receipt and write up of the work that was performed, so that it could be turned in for final payment for the insurance company to reimburse the cost of the repair.  I have used his services several times since then for remodel, repair, and drywall work and I would highly recommend his services.  No job is too big or too small and excellent work is done every time. <br />"

"There was a little mix up about when the work would start; however, once that got straightened out everything went very well. Had to rebuild steep steps on our raised front deck and did a great job. There was more rot than what they thought but the estimate held other than having to order some wood to make the repairs. Did a great job and had it done in 1 1/2 days. Highly recommend them."
