"MDTECH sent their repair tech Paul to figure out what the issue was. Paul thought it might be the rollers, and he was right. One of the rollers was badly worn, and in less than 30-minutes Paul; vacuumed out the debris from the roller inside of the dryer, replaced both rollers, put the dryer back together, tested it, and was back in his truck off to his next service call. Paul knew exactly what he was doing, was easy to talk to, and did a great job as far as I'm concerned. And Yes if I need an appliance serviced or repaired my first call will be to MDTECH."

Service tech made recommendations and told us the good brands and the brands that have gone down in quality. We decided to have our current one repaired. "Turned out that the fix was simple -- but we wouldn't have known what to do without advice from the technician. Really appreciate the service and expertise! Only complaint was that the tech took unnecessary time asking about products we use in the dishwasher. We have no complaints about the quality of washing and drying we are getting, and we're committed to using products that don't scratch or perfume our dishes or harm the water supply. Technician asked what we use and told us to "throw that away" and use recommended products. I can understand that certain products are recommended with certain makes of appliances -- but it would have taken 20 seconds to tell us what the recommended products are without having our choices criticized. Overall, we were thrilled to be able to get sound advice/help over the phone. Thank you for offering this service! And we will definitely call again if we run into trouble."

"There was just miscommunication in the beginning. I called to confirm my appointment as the technician was now late. They didnâ t have me down for that day or any record of my call. I then had to wait for parts to be ordered after diagnosing the broken freezer. I didnâ t know if he was going to order it. He said to call the office and tell them to order it which seemed weird. Then I couldnâ t pull out the refrigerator to unplug it myself in order to let it sit for 24 hours defrosting once the parts were in.. I was told on the phone that I had a circuit to the fridge that I could turn off. He had never seen my outdated box. Finally had it repaired which was quick at that point. Knowledgeable technician though."

"Tony was prompt and courteous. I have a 40 yr old Maytag washer, and he said the hose replacement was difficult to find and because of the item he made 2 visits: 1 was the troubleshooting and estimate, the 2nd was to bring the hose to do the repair. He accurately diagnosed and repaired our washer resulting in no more leaking. He was done in less than an hour. I did not do any comparisons, as I had been without a washer for 2 weeks. I liked the service, but I would probably do a comparison next time . I feel the cost was a bit high. I paid $270. However, he did a great job."

"Larry was very responsive. He came out within a half hour of my calling him and looked at the front loading washing machine, which had stopped working. He charged a $35 service charge. After looking at it for a half hour he determined that it was the control board (?) that was not working and said he could order one. We looked on my home computer to see how much it would cost and it was approximately $130, so I needed to think about whether it was worth repairing or if I should just buy a new machine since mine was 6 years old. Larry told me that it would be an additional $55 for him to install it. So a total of $220. I later decided to go ahead with the repair and Larry obtained the part for me very quickly. He told me it cost more than the one we had seen online and so I ended up paying $25 more, however, his invoice showed the same price for the part, but an increased labor fee. I was happy with his work, but felt that Larry may have overcharged me a bit. Something just didn't feel right about the final invoice. However, the washer has been working fine. UPDATE: Larry did contact me promptly after reading the above review and offer to refund $20. I expect to receive the refund shortly."
