"Wonderful as usual !!! "Triangle Plumbing and Backflow" as I have said before, is THE BEST.

Highly Skilled, where you can put your mind at rest, plain and simple.

Brian ("Woody") had come to our house, to install a new Moen faucet
for our kitchen. The set-up looked pretty straight forward, as this was a new
faucet which Moen had sent to me in the mail. But I knew "Triangle Plumbing and Backflow" would make sure
the job was done right. And sure enough,   as always, they come through with 5 Gold Stars !!!

I have hired "Triangle Plumbing and Backflow" several times in the past for different types of work in the bathroom and kitchen.    And I will say this, as I have said before,  "If ANYONE is in need of plumbing services,

where I feel I've learned something new each time, about my home.

I remember the first few times they have come to our house, thinking that I was going to have many more issues,
and it was going to cost me a lot of money. But they correctly diagnosed the problem, applied the small fix,
 and saved me money. Well, the same type of thing happened this time.

Our garbage disposal didn't work. My wife and I thought we had to get a new garbage disposal, and also
pay for the labor to install a new one.      "Woody", (The Wood Man),   said to me      "No,   you?re fine"
 "I just loosened up the mechanism,   and cleared out any debris"                   No Charge !!!

"Gerald is my new handyman! He’s very professional. His service is fast and efficient. I booked him for the assembly of a queen size bed frame & headboard. I requested his services around 9am, he arrived to my residence at 10:30am, then finished at 11:30am! PHENOMENAL!! "Very hard workers, renovated both bathrooms from plumbing to shower doors and trim. It looks great. We have 26year old house and apparently 15 years ago the plumbing was recalled due to failures. Justin Shane changed plumbing in crawlspace to all lines into the house and outside spickets. Found out during this process that our hot water heater was rusting and was replaced. We had bath walls and vanity damaged and had to be returned and replaced. This put us behind and Lowes never offered to deliver any of the products that had to be returned. Justin took items back and got replacements. The return process took over an hour each time due to Lowes unorganized process. There was 5 items damaged when we got back here with them. Justin worked late several nights in order to keep on schedule due to Lowes terrible quality control. All in all, Justin did a great job and we would hire him again."

"Our 1991 vintage AO Smith water heater finally sprung a leak and had to be replaced.

I research several replacement options and popular brands. I narrowed our choices and obtained quotes from Home Depot, Piedmont Natural Gas, and The Water Heater Experts.

Because we were leaking water, James ( answering the phones for T.W.H.E. ) was able to have a very friendly Mr. Scott Martin to GRACIOUSLY make a hole in his very tight schedule to visit our home for a quote. Although I had done my homework to save time, Mr Martin's price quotes and impressive knowledge of the little, but important details, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each of our options along with his own suggestions definitely helped win us over.

We have 2+ living in our 3.5 bath home and frequent have 2+ guests. Our options were a Rheem Professional Series 0.58 efficiency standard vented water heater with  8-12 yr warranty ; a GE #SG50T12AVG standard vented 0.62 efficiency water heater with 12yr tank and parts/1yr in-home service warranty ; a Rinnai RL94i 9.4GPM 0.82 efficiency tankless water heater with 12yr heat exchange/5yr parts/1yr labor warranty ; and the AO Smith Vertex 0.96 efficient power vent or 0.96 efficient power direct vent models with 6yr tank and parts/ but NO LABOR warranty.

We were prepared to invest in one of the higher efficiency choices for the long term benefits. However,  we settled on the more standard tech GE because neither the Rianni tankless nor the ultra high efficiency AO Smiths had any means of battery backup in the event of a power outage. This is important to us. During the ice storm of 2002, we were able to endure 3+ days/nights in our home without power because we had a water heater with traditional pilot light. Otherwise,  for those who have emergency gens or have other means of access to hot water during a power outage, the tankless seems be the the clear winner to us ---with some exceptions--- in terms of endurance (~20yrs) and long term costs.

Although marginally higher than our cheapest quote, WE DECIDED TO GIVE THE WATER HEATER EXPERTS A TRY BECAUSE OF THEIR SUPERIOR SERVICE AWARDS. PLUS, their quotes included replacing our old cold water intake twist type shutoff valve with a lever shutoff valve, the installation of a thermal expansion tank in compliance with the latest code requirements, and water pipe insulation sleeves. Finally, T.W.H.E. was offering a $25 Angie's List coupon towards the cost of the installation. The combo was unbeatable.

A very clean and professional installation was completed the same day by friendly, very competent and considerate Master Plumber Michael Takes. We have not been disappointed in the least, thus far.

At this point, we are very with The Water Heater Experts and will be calling them first for our future water heater needs as well as recommending them to our friends and neighbors."

"Matthew came to do a free inspection of my plumbing.  He noticed some water under the kitchen sink and gave us a very reasonable estimate for that repair.  We ultimately decided to replace the sink and faucet, as the whole setup wasn't in great shape.  Matthew came the next day and did the job; he was punctual and professional, and he did an excellent job.  We are very pleased with how it turned out.

I then needed that to be all reinstalled so that it hung from the joists and did not perforate the plastic waterproofing sheeting that was placed over the walls. This job went fantastically well! Tom got back to me right away, was able to come right away, and really saved my bacon to get me ready for the water-proofing installation right on time. He put in a big day's work putting everything back better than it was before and came up with inventive ways to reinstall everything so that it wouldn't perforate the sheeting. Without him, I wouldn't have even thought it possible to reinstall everything. Tom was really easy to work with, did what he said he would (and better) and did it on time. He's the best!"
