"I signed up to have a modular log home built on an existing foundation. The builder had a number of specifications that needed to be met to get the foundation ready for the new house. I contacted 8 other companies, but no one could help me with my long list of tasks. When I finally got ahold of Highlander Waterproofing, I started by telling them I was a problem child. I listed all the work that needed to be done and Mike told me that nothing on my list sounded sounded scary. I got a couple of visits from Mario, the manager, and Mike, the senior engineer, and one of their senior job bosses. They were all knowledgeable, helpful, positive, and suggested that I use steel supports instead of concrete to save space. Work started in August when Dewey and JT started knocking off the top 2 courses of block. "The Gents" - Dewey (the job boss) Devon, Jimmy, Matt, and Dave - did wonderful work. Because of Murphy's Law, we had to knock some walls down and rebuild them because of bowing, and we ended up adding an internal French Drain. They set rebar, poured tons of concrete, dug footers, put up steel support beams, installed glass block windows, put down sill plates, and rebuilt the front where the garage doors will be. I cannot even begin to say how pleased I am with the work they did. And they were a lot of fun to boot! They let me video them daily, tease them mercilessly, and they had the good grace to laugh when my dog made off with their breakfast jerky. There is still some work to do when the house actually gets here in April - insulating the outside wall, backfilling, putting the sump pumps in, rebuilding the center wall, and digging footers for the porch. I have absolute confidence in Highlander Waterproofing and "The Gents." I would recommend them highly and with no reservations to anyone who needs foundation work. I will add to this post with the final pictures in April."

Dan and his team repaired our foundation, installed a drainage system and pump, as well as a vapor barrier. Our basement has been dry and free of mold since. "PRO: For installing an interior French drain, while it was pouring outside, the crew was extremely clean. Both my yard and interior of my house was left with only minor evidence of the work. PRO: The initial consultation with Phil Thistle was informative and provided me with piece of mind in terms of the project and projected outcome. It seemed as though we would have support throughout the project. PRO: Owen Dan Kelly is very dedicated to the quality of his company and the work they do. Once he found out about some of the concerns I had with the project, he remedied them immediately. I was very impressed with the attention he provides his customers. CON: Communication. Up to the install, I was in constant contact with the company about timing and expectations. However, as soon as the install began and then directly after, I was on my own. There seemed to be no one overseeing the install, just the crew doing the work. Also, there were miscommunications about the project throughout the install; the crew was asking me for direction on installation steps I have no background on. CON: Support. Again, as soon as the install was complete, that was it. Phil showed me images of pictures he took with satisfied customers on past installs, making me feel that he was dedicated to the project's success. However, after the consultation, even though he was copied on various emails about some of my concerns, he never got back in touch. In addition, no one ever contacted me to see if I had questions about the finished product, to see how everything turned out, or if there was anything else I needed. CON: Timing. The crew was on-time for the install both days, however, the schedule was more impactful to my routine than expected. The crew worked 9AM - 3PM only on Day 1. However, to finish in 2 days, they worked 8:30AM - 7:30PM on Day 2. As I have a small child, having construction still happening after 7:30PM was difficult, but more so was confusing as Day 1 ended so early."

When it looked like the deal would fall through because of title issues from the seller, Mark offered his guidance and expertise and was right there throughout the whole process. The whole 5 months! "Excellent wish all my contractors came out this good.  showed up for the estimate on time and had a video that showed the steps to fix the basement.  measured  the basement and made up contract.  when I mentioned angies list and deals offered we built it right into contract without printing coupons and stuff. were quick with availability came out the following week.  foreman (Dan) was on time and double checked everything before starting .Wanted to move sump pump and outside drain to a less used area. not a PROBLEM. Was loud and cold in the house all day as if you run the furnace while they work it comes through the vents.  laid out carpet protectors and were done in only 1 day (the estimator planned 2)  Jackhammered the floor out and dug down to foundation laid new drains and installed new sump pump. they brought 5 people and they all worked hard constantly for the day.  lost track of all the buckets after 30 (5 gal. buckets).removed with old crap.  Explained all the warranties and paperwork with new sump pump.  Have to wait for the concrete to dry. it's now 3 days later and I'm ready to put the basement back together.  Looks great and can't wait to use the basement without wet and damp floors and walls furnace)  did forget to put screen back in basement window but if you have leaky walls and damp floors this is nice.  any problems after the next big rain I'll let ya's know.

Was looking for an installation of a â French Drainâ system. The Owner/Inspector suggested a â Dry wellâ system. The work was performed over [4] four days including [1] one rain-out/non workday. Work was performed by [3] three workers. All things considered [though only [2] two weeks out from the project] I would definitely recommend All Mold & Basement Services, LLC. For any housing project that they say they can perform. Full Review: Inquired about a housing project via online request. Received [3] three responses the first was from All Mold & Basement Services, LLC. The Office Manager-Serena was pleasant and professional. Arranged for an appointment with the Inspector/Owner-Dave. Day of appointment Dave arrived as scheduled. I Explained what I had in mind, we walked the property, and I asked several questions. Dave listened to my thoughts, explained some ideas to solve the solutions to my housing project. And answered my questions. If you decide to have Dave and his qualified and experienced crew perform your housing project, remember that in addition to Dave being the Owner/ Inspector -he is also a salesman. This is not a knock on Dave but keep this in mind when discussing the signing of the contract to commit to an agreement. I found Dave to be available for additional questions, agreeable to open/further discussions, and understanding with a desire to satisfy me, his customer. Even when I called at an inopportune time, he answered my call, explained he was busy with another business matter but shortly called me back and apologized for sounding hurried. Provided me references to which each responded by phone with their experiences and good review and recommendation. I found his crew which included his son to be cordial and professional and experienced. They really worked well together and with me for the short time I was able to observe them. All [3] three men- Gab, Ryan and Mike are top notch workmen. Dave and his crew explained what they were doing and ask questions to see if everything was going ok and to my liking. And was willing to listen when I had questions as the job was going along. I have found in this day and age when it is hard to find good, reliable, dependable help and a company committed to performing good work, and in a difficult economy- with high cost and short amount of supplies. To every now and then find a company in this imperfect world, with no one being perfect, that you can at least feel somewhat good about doing business with them and would do so again. That company deserves to be mentioned among the good experiences we encounter in life. For any homeowner the anxiety of owning a home is enough by itself.
