"Ken was fantastic. We had storm damage to our chimney which dented the flue inside. The house is old enough that we had to replace the entire fireplace from top to bottom. Ken spent probably 2 hours just talking to me about what needed to be done and why. Once we finally got our insurance check Ken quickly scheduled us for the work knowing that we were in the process of selling the house and getting the chimney fixed was mandatory. I was worried the project could take several weeks, but Ken was almost completely done in 5 days. Ken was very respectful of our property and went to great lengths to minimize dust, protect our floors, and he always did an excellent job keeping the work area clean. Ken even found potential fire hazards in the old chimney that needed to be corrected. The result was a new fireplace with all the problems fixed. We've had many experiences with contractors and our experience with Ken was clearly the best we've ever had. I highly recommend Ken!"

"REASON FOR SELECTION: I reviewed Shingle Master's ratings in Angie's List and a colleague at work highly recommended them. PRICE: -Actual cost of just replacing shingles with the 50 year shingles was $17K. I spoke to many of my neighbors who have similar houses and they claim to have paid around $17K. So I figure this was okay. - I also requested the option of having insulation blown into my attic, this was an additional $1.9K. - I also have Peel & Stick placed all over the roof for $900 - I also paid $300 for an upgraded workmanship warrant that was transferable to the new owner - I was graciously given a $300 military discount for my service. - I also had to pay over $1K for 21 extra pieces of plywood (making 26 total pieces swapped out) (the contract provided for 5 pieces of plywood to be included). I expressed my concern over this issue and the salesman assured me this was typical and nothing to worry about. He led me to believe that in the worst case scenario, I might have to have 5-10 pieces replaced and his company would furnish me with pictures of the damaged wood. Upon receipt of my bill I requested those pictures and they don't account for 26 pieces being damaged, just a few. QUALITY: The final appearance of the roof looks good. However, I have reservations about a practice that was performed on my house. Upon returning home I noted that the roofing crew was blowing insulation through two square holes (my estimate of the hole size is 18-24 inches square) that were cut in the sheathing in at least two areas of my roof. I believe they cut more holes then the two I saw because I could see what looked like repair work on the peel & stick in other areas. What I could not understand was why they had to cut holes in the roof for insulation when they had to replace 26 pieces of plywood. Moreover, where one of the holes was cut was over the garage and my wife made it know she was home and could have afforded them access to the attic through the garage. I've been told this is not normal practice. I am enclosing a picture of one of the hold to illustrate. RESPONSIVENESS: Right from the start, communication was disappointing. Even though my first call was before 4:00 pm I got the answering machine that urged me to go to their website and fill out a form. I constantly got the answering machine. If my co-worker had not urged me to hang in there, I probably would have sought out another company. I even had trouble getting replies to my emails. PUNCTUALITY: No problems here. PROFESSIONALISM: I went with Good for a rating for a few reasons. - The day the dumpster was delivered (Tues) I found nails in my driveway (work had not even begun) - The next day (Wed) someone from Shingle Masters met my wife early in the morning; however he didn't return the rest of the day. We only saw the roofers. - The next day (Thu) no one from Shingle Masters dropped by to check on the work. We only saw the roofers. - On Wednesday when the roofers were done for the day they left the furniture they moved out in the middle of the front yard along with an insulation hose; they left tools (radio and ice chest) up on the roof; and just departed. Picture enclosed. - On Thursday when they were done, the did move the furniture back, tidied up before they left and took the dumpster. - Wood covered by a blue tarp was left in my yard for a few more days. - Met owner on 11 July; he was professional and amicable to talk with. I addressed my positive comments and negative concerns with him."

"My experience was less than desirable, I contracted with Integrity to have my pool cage repainted in April 2024, which was done and paid in full, however, there were issues. The entire pool cage was left with a sandpaper type texture (was original smooth). When I brought this up, I was told that it was ‘windy’ and that it was overspray, if that was the case, then why did they paint and not wait for another day that was not windy? Or advise me that was a possibility before painting? They did come back out, spot sand a couple of areas, hand painted those spots and considered the job complete. Most of the pool cage still has the sandpaper texture which prior to painting was completely smooth. An additional issue that I had was that there were parts of the cage that had imperfections that were not addressed (i.e., sand, priming, etc.) which I was told would be done. It appears to just be painted over as one area flaked up the next day. When I pointed them out, they advised that was rust (it is an aluminum cage look up yourself if aluminum rusts). When I addressed my concerns with Integrity, they were dismissive to me and had an excuse for everything as to why/how it was my fault. Which if accurate, then in my opinion they should have brought up these issue(s) prior to painting? Just my experience, I hope that your experience is different, given my experience I would not recommend them."

"GREAT! I have a Spanish tile roof and not every roofing company can work on these and not all are reputable. I hired Arry’s Roofing to fix a leak in late March/early April. If I can say one thing about everyone I worked with at Arry’s is that they are honestly out to give you the best service and will not charge you for anything that you absolutely do not need. There are few companies that I have worked with that I can say this about, but I feel like Arry’s is truly looking out for my best interest. The work that they bid on turned out to be a little different than what was needed; however, that was not discovered until the day the work started. The expected charge was decreased based on the work needed and when I called the person at Arry’s I had been working with, he wanted to make sure I felt the price was right, etc. Again, when does that even happen? #1 – the charge goes down? And #2 – Arry’s wanted to make sure I felt the adjustment was adequate for the work being done. WOW! I have not put in a review as I wanted to make sure we had a hard rain and I could test the leak to ensure it was fixed. It definitely passed the test and I have found a new roofing company and have already recommended them to several of my neighbors. The worst thing someone thinking about a roofing job could do is not call Arry’s!"

"I did my homework before selecting Jerry’s Roofing. Given the cost and importance of a project like this, I’m glad I got this one right. I saw they have been in business longer than anyone I found and had an excellent reputation. Even my coworkers and friends had great things to say about them. After checking out my roof, Jerry gave me a very fair quote that included more sheets of plywood than any of my other quotes. That really helped in my situation. Unfortunately, my roof was in worse shape than I realized and a lot of the wood had to be replaced. Fortunately for me, I selected the right company and these guys worked hard and late. Even though my roof damage was extensive, which really should not have been a shock to me considering the age, Jerry’s Roofing took care of us, and at a good price. The crew showed up on time and got started immediately. Very professional guys and obviously very experienced.
