"I have some level of disappointment because Acculevel was unable to lift the patio back to its original position. That being said, I think the challenges they encountered would have been encountered by anyone else, and some of the other one-man mudjacking operations who wanted to use buckets or wheelbarrows to carry slurry back to my patio probably would have given up earlier. I chose Acculevel because they use foam instead of slurry (which should last much longer), they had a 300 foot hose solving problems with access to the backyard (I live on a steep slope with retaining walls), and I had more confidence selecting them compared to independent one-man operations who do mudjacking. Their price wasn't the highest bid I received but it wasn't the lowest. I thought it was fair given the foam is a higher quality product. The crew actually arrived an hour early, which actually wasn't ideal but not a big deal (a call would have been nice). They worked hard and I suspect they were there much longer than they had originally envisioned. They did a nice job sealing all cracks when they were done with a high-quality crack filler which most of the mudjacking guys told me they don't do. The good crack filler can be messy and difficult to work with so this was a nice little bonus. Although they couldn't get the patio back to where it was, they worked hard to do the best they could without risking damage to the retaining wall. At least with the foam they use, I have confidence it won't sink anymore."

"Recently purchased 107 year old home.  One side of stone foundation had crumbling mortar joints and missing stones. Needed repaired and tuck pointed. Woody came out examined the foundation and masonry work and had an estimate with in one hour of getting my call.  Very knowledgeable about very old masonry work.  Work was completed in 2-3 days by himself and crew or 2-3.  Went to great pains not to damage neighbors newly stamped concrete walk between houses.  Clean up was very complete and the foundation looks brand new.  Definitely would hire again.  Does everything exactly as he says he will."

"Frisby was great to work with. My initial meeting was with Brit...she was great. She walked me through the entire process and then kept in contact as we progressed through the process. The folks at Frisby also kept in contact as the schedule changed due to delays (all weather related) but they still hit out target date for the install. They were very involved in the insurance process and provided all the documentation needed to support the claim. The work they did on the roof was excellent. In and out in one day. Clean up was very good...only found a few stray nails (5-10) afterwards. When you rip off and replace an entire roof, I think that is very reasonable. They also performed a post-install inspection where they walked with me to identify any potential issues (none found). We have had several heavy rains since the install with NO LEAKS! Great job!"

"We initially contacted Jaco to fix a leveling issue with our driveway that was causing water to pool up. Josh Goodman came out and was very straight forward. He doubted that leveling the driveway would fix the issue. He suggested instead to install a Box Drain and run it into our current French Drain system. After a little more research we decided on a 3' long channel drain. It took a while from the initial contact in the Spring to getting an estimate in July but then the job was performed a month later in August. After the installation the Channel Drain worked perfectly. Also, the drain itself was installed very well. Our issue was with the installation of the plastic pipe which carried the water to our French Drain. The trench was dug unevenly then poorly filled. The result was a sharp dip all along the drain pipe; like a reverse "speed bump". Also where the pipe connected to the French Drain was not buried deep enough causing the pipe to be exposed. When I called Josh he came out to look at it then I heard nothing. A week later I called Josh and he said it looked fine to him. After a 5 minute discussion he agreed to send a crew out to fix it. 3 weeks later..no crew so my wife and I spent 4 hrs. relaying the drain pipe and filling it in properly. So, I give Jaco an A for the concept and the installation of the Channel Drain and an F for the installation of the drain pipe and overall Customer Service."

Larry was very considerate like when he asked if I wanted used gravel in the low areas of my driveway. "I found them on Angie's List. They were very responsive and called me back right away. They were busy and sent someone out within a week or so. He looked at our property, we had some steps that were eroding and we don't need their services at all. He suggested getting a general contractor and rerouting the water away from our house, the drainage. It was good. It was just an estimate, so there wasn't a charge. Since he couldn't see anything that they could do, then there was no charge. He was very helpful and honest. He was very knowledgeable and I felt he knew what he was talking about. I appreciated that he didn't try to do a service that we didn't need. They got very high reviews."
