"Had a great experience working with this company. The design process was fun and easy, and the communication during the timeline and completion succeeded my expectations. We got new cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet, and backsplash. Xena even recommended putting lights underneath the cabinets and I'm so glad we decided to do this, it was so worth it. Everyone that comes over compliments our kitchen and I can't believe its ours. Thanks to all who made this possible."

"Mike is a true professional.  He has been installing floors for 33 years
and his experience paid off for me.  His work ethic is excellent along
with a high quality job.  Mike worked with me to understand what I was
wanting.  He was my installer.  I bought my hardwood and asked him
questions as I made my decision.  He was helpful in that also.  He is a
skilled craftsman who stands behind his work and is punctual and a great
communicator.  I highly recommend him and his work.  Everyone who walks into my house comments on how nice the floor looks because of Mike's artistic skill in laying down the wood and working with the varying colors and grains."

"The main drawback was that they did not call me ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. They showed up 45 minutes later than they said they would. The price was okay. They need to call the customer and let them know whats going on before they show up."

"

Very nice experience overall. Brian's team determined that the wood rot had extended into my flooring and that water had been dripping from the top of the door frame and caused extensive damage.  They repaired the flooring with treated wood, installed new wood trim around the door and painted the door and trim, and also took extra care with the steps.  I am very happy with the service provided.

FAQs for interior trim and decorative moldings repair projects in Piqua, OH

While the terms 'trim' and 'molding' are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes in home design. Trim refers to materials installed at the junctions of walls, ceilings, and floors, providing a seamless and functional transition. Molding, on the other hand, is a decorative type of trim crafted specifically to enhance your interior's visual appeal. For personalized recommendations that match your home's style, consult a professional contractor.

Repairing or replacing trim throughout your entire home takes six hours. If you're focusing on just a single room or a small section, you can expect the project to take one to two hours to complete. The process includes removing the old trim, carefully measuring and cutting new pieces, and precisely installing them to achieve a polished and lasting result.

Selecting the right trim is key to enhancing your home's overall design. Common options include shoe molding, quarter-round, baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and picture rails. The best choice depends on where you're installing it, your personal style preferences, and your budget. Consulting a knowledgeable contractor can help you find the perfect trim to elevate your interior's appearance.
