"In preparation to sell my mother's home located in Phillipsburg, Ohio, I contacted Stickler Home Improvement of Union, Ohio, located near Phillipsburg.   I needed to sell the home as soon as possible as my mother is now living in a skilled care facility.   Jeff Stickler of Stickler Home Improvement was very easy to work with. He was considerate, well spoken and very accommodative.   The entire house was remodeled and updated inside and out. "Missed him the first time because I didn't know he contacted me through Angie's List message board to schedule the initial inspection. He completed the inspection and I didn't even know he had come out to my house. When I contacted him by phone, he came back to see the issues I was mostly concerned with which was a hole in my siding and a sagging gutter. He repaired the siding the same day he came out but said he would repair the gutter within the next few weeks. My husband was so desperate to have the gutter repaired that he agreed to the $400 Brian quoted. This was in addition to the $99 that I paid through Angie's List. 
We were never sure when the gutter was repaired because we were not home. It appeared the gutter was fixed a few weeks later but we never left or mailed a final invoice or statement. He showed up at our house on a Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. nearly four months later to collect the additional $400. Still no invoice or receipt.
