"First I want to extend my thanks to Perry Tubul who came to me personally and look at my situation to repair or replace my old central AC. He quoted me a good price for replacement that I can't refuse. The central AC was replaced with no hitch and on time. Want also to appreciate the work of Joseph and Joshua who were very courteous in installing the condenser and duct. What I admire most is Perry who sent a crane to pick up my old heavy AC from the hillside backyard of my house which is impossible to bring it up to the street level. He is really a gentleman to pursue his promise to pick it up after I already paid the unit and services. My worry for the old AC to tumble down the hill and not hurt our neighbor is a good piece of mind. Again kudos to the team of Perry."

"I had a difficult problem with a "mini-split" A/C unit (the list of choices only includes window or central A/C, but mini-split is a different system). It was only a few years old, but the condensation wasn't draining, and ended up pouring water out of the front of the unit and destroying a TV under it. I had 3 different repair people out to see it, all of whom provided a quick patch, took the money and ran, only to see it break down again soon after they left. I was ready to surrender and assume it was a lemon and needed a new one, but figured I'd give it one more try after reading Amir's reviews. He ended up doing a very thorough inspection and identified the problems (original installation had been sloppy, but you had to go into the crawl space to see that, which none of the other contractors bothered to do). Then he went ahead and fixed the problems, installing correct parts at last, tested everything, and now it works great. Price was fair, he's a very nice and honest guy, really knows what he's doing. I highly recommend him."

"Darrow and his team did an excellent job! During a 100+ degree heat wave, our 2nd floor A/C failed. My prior A/C man had recently retired and I was scrambling.... reviewed Angie's List and made several calls. In several cases, I found myself as caller #10 in the queue. Darrow took the call personally, however, and was able to see us late that day. As a businessman I'm used to moving slowly, assessing, considering alternatives, etc. On this occasion there was no time, had to go with my gut. Mirsky Heat & Air really came through. They spent several hours (6-9pm) testing different options but ultimately found the compressor required replacement. They were able to return a day later and install the replacement. Their price was fair, Victor (his associate) was extremely knowledgeable, their work was first rate... and their response during a crisis was a life-saver!
