"Kevin and Nick were EXCELLENT. Kevin gave the price for services up front. After inspecting my chimney, he was concern about the wear and tear and loose tiles. He told me there would be an additional charge if he had to address those issues during installation. He assured me he would do everything to avoid further damage to avoid additional charges. He came through without any problems. The installation went perfect. The job was completed in just over an hour. Kevin and Nick were prompt, pleasant and professional. They laid a dropcloth from the front door to my basement door to avoid dirtying my floor. They completely cleaned up the work area when finished. I am completely satisfied with their work. My neighbor recommended them because of everything I just stated."

"Shortly after I posted my review And heard what I had to say, And then in an effort to make things correct because my feeling was that the person was trying to nickel and they offered to refund half the cost which I declined to go that far I did ask for a partial refund but not the level of half can make fair for them and to keep with average cost for such project. And highly recommend them. And I would recommend them. The company contacted me and they made the situation right. On the positive side, they contacted me and scheduled someone to come out quickly. I explained what I needed, which was replacement of a chimney rain cap. I was told the fee for someone to come out and inspect. I asked if that would go towards services, should I have chosen them and was told yes. The technician came out and wanted to do an inspection, which was fine - because one never knows. He was very pleasant - and used a drone to take pictures of the chimney. The company contacted me and they made the situation right. On the not-so-positive side, he kept trying to up-sell. I told him I only wanted the rain cap to keep rain out, because we plan to get rid of the chimney in year or two. He kept trying to tell me I needed it - even after I explained that the chimney is only for the current water heater, which we will replace with a tankless heater. He wanted to do the masonry and to install a second one, though it wasn't essential. He suggested the nice rain cap. We spent a lot of time talking about why I didn't need it. Then we get to the price... the initial price was ridiculously high. Beyond the range my research showed, so I said no. He offered 2, but still very high and I said no - only for what I asked for. Then he asked which one I wanted replaced and I said the one that is missing. Initially, when he thought he was getting $1000 out of me, he said the fee for inspection was waved. When it was just the 1 cap he said he would charge a lower rate. Thinking back, I should have seen those as warnings and gone elsewhere. But, I was worried about water damage and went against my normal rule. Get 3 quotes and then decide."

"The gentleman was on time and did a good job - left no mess.  I asked for quotes on replacing our old system with a more efficient one, and he gave me two choices.   <br /> My only complaint is they are hard to get ahold of (mailbox is always full), but he still got back to me in a day or two. <br />"

The person also recommended a black roof but Phila code requires reflective roof."

"Cowan's south jersey masonry came out and fixed the top of both chimneys, sealed them and placed the caps on the top and he cleaned out the chimney. I was working and my parents were there and couldn't say enough about the two gentlemen who completed the work. My mom asked if they could fix a crack on our cement sidewalk and they did with no charge! Thank you so much for your professionalism and help with this project. Thank you for fixing my sidewalk. "I had received 5 other estimates before meeting with Shaun, the owner of Ameritech Services to have 2 layers of roof removed and a new one installed. He was very pleasant and discusses every detail of the process during the free estimate. This made the consult longer than most but was ultimately why I chose his company, since I knew they would not skimp corners on getting the job done. The roof I chose came with a 5 year labor warranty and a 30 year warranty on product. The project came with up to 10 sheets of decking if it needed to be replaced, and I needed 9! Several of the other companies, you have to pay for each sheet of plywood needed or includes just a few so that worked out great for me. From the time I signed the contract, I had excellent customer service; having 3 point contacts (owner, project leader and office manager). Larry and his team arrived promptly as scheduled and worked efficiently in getting my roof removed, replaced and cleaned up in 3 hours! Granted, I have a small 3 bedroom rancher with a simple roof, but still impressive. That afternoon I received a follow up call from Shaun, the owner to check in which was a nice touch. A week later, I received a thank you gift and a $500 gift card for family & friends or for a future project. Their estimate was the second lowest that I had received. I used a $1000 Angies List coupon and then was given an additional $500 off at time of estimate. I would definitely recommend to others."
