Gardens of the Carolinas was the most responsive when we initiated initial inquiries, which continued throughout our project. John and his team were fantastic to work with for our backyard project. The team listened to our concerns and provided an extensive long-term vision for rectifying them and making them an area we’d enjoy moving forward. Based on our immediate needs, we decided to take a phased approach by adding a timber retention wall, a stone wall with lighting, and privacy trees. They also tapped into our existing drainage solution and made it more efficient. I view this as providing us with a canvas for future projects. We are very pleased with their work and will be a repeat customer for future phases of their initial plan. To summarize our experience with Gardens of the Carolinas: Patience: We made multiple edits to find a solution within budget. John and the team always understood and respected our concerns, ensuring we were comfortable with the decisions. Thoroughness: I was provided multiple options and pros/cons for every question. This reiterated their experience and gave me confidence that we were making a sound investment. Seamless: their team handled everything for us, including permitting, assistance with HOA, and more, in addition to the work completed. Professionalism: The crew performing the work respected concerns around noise and ensured a clean and tidy work environment. When the project was completed, they ensured the streets, sidewalks, and backyard were all in a great place, demonstrating their unwavering dedication to customer service."

"Contacted Home Genius through Angie’s List to replace the siding and gutters on my house and agreed to an appointment. I liked the sales pitch but had to cut it short (to an hour) as I had to go pick up my son. The sales ‘expert’ said he’d send me a quote along with other pertinent information the next day. After a week with no word, I called back and received an apology from customer service and was guaranteed to hear back regarding the quote within 48 hours. Another week passed and I called again. Got the same treatment from customer service along with the same promise of contact within 48 hours. It’s been another week now and obviously they have no intention of following up on this. Can’t speak to the work they do but pre-sale work is lacking."

"I have work with Susan on multiple projects for 10 years now and I couldn't be happier with her and her crew. This year I asked them to replace nearly all the windows on the house. Susan made great recommendation and picked out the windows, so I didn't have to do a lot of shopping around. They showed up on time and cleaned up after the work. The crew members are trust-worthy which is great for a busy professional like myself. I left the house to them in the morning and went on with my day. They locked it up at the end of the day, cleaned up construction related mess so when I got home it was as if nothing had happened, except for all the brand new windows on the wall!!! There were some minor issues with a few windows, but when I pointed them out, they fixed them right away. House repair and remodeling could be very stressful but they really made it easy, from the initial consultation to the work completion, I never have to worry about a thing, that's why I alway go with them."
