"Zach mis measured a foundation on step #1, made the wood structure fit in the cheapest and laziest way. Concrete pillars were supposed to be hidden under the shed (I also supplied a drawing from another contractor to go by) and they now extend past so I am not able to just easily landscape around them as well as some of the brackets literally hanging off of the pillars. A couple of the concrete screws did not draw down all the way, a normal person would find out why and fix but nope they left it this way, pictures in the link!! The foundation was not square and it is to wide as well due to this mistake. I also had to shim multiple areas due to the foundation not being level. He promised to come back and help with some landscaping and some sort of flashing on the back to help hide the mistakes and most importantly keep water off the wood, I even had him give me a paid receipt saying he will return to help and then disappeared. I have linked pictures and a video of the terrible workmanship. Would not recommend. A follow up and help with some of the landscaping would have been very appreciated. { Removed google link}"

Kangaroo Plumbing is a fully registered, licensed and insured small company serving Pittsburgh's East End since 1998 and is owned and operated by an Australian plumber, John Warburton. John is a Master Plumber who began his plumbing apprenticeship in 1972 and has been working as a plumber all his life. John is the person who answers the phone when you call. More importantly, he is the plumber who comes to your home and performs all of the work. John is able to handle anything from a minor repair to a whole house re-pipe. He is often able to repair plumbing that other plumbers will only replace and has a lot of experience diagnosing mystery leaks and problems. He specializes in residential service and repair work including water heater and main stack replacements. John understands old houses and provides personal service.

"John's work is excellent and meticulous. He has done many projects here over the years. This is the first time that I ever had to have him come back. There was a very slow drip on the faucet where he had previously replaced the stems, more than 6 months ago. It was not clear whether it was on the hot side or the cold side. He replaced them both just to be sure and he did not charge me anything at all. I would recommend him without reservation."

"My husband and I had a Stickley table that was showing signs of wear with light scratches and discolored wood. We also had 4 chairs purchased with the table. ... 2 years later, we purchased 2 additional chairs. The company had changed the stain color to a darker cherry so they didn't come close to matching. Grimes stripped the table and all six chairs, along with the 2 leaves for the table, and refinished everything in a beautiful satin-finish dark cherry. Now, all pieces are identical and we could not be happier with the results. Grimes may not be the least expensive option for refinishing but, they are the best and are very knowledgeable. The craftsmanship was perfection. We could not have purchased a new dining set of this quality for anywhere near what we paid for the work. We love it."
