"We hired Groundworks (formerly Baker?s Waterproofing) for a $20,000 basement waterproofing project that was promised to be fast, dust-free, and high-quality. Instead, our home was left coated in concrete dust, parts of the job were rushed, and unsafe wiring still powers our sump pump. Promised electrician service has yet to happen. Three months later, the $10,000 filtration system is still unusable. This project has cost us significant time, caused stress for our family, and left us with ongoing safety concerns. We cannot recommend this company based on our experience. Although one middle manager tried to help and arranged partial repairs, upper management ignored most issues. Three months later, the air filtration system remains unusable, electrical hazards persist, and no restitution has been made. What an exhausting mistake at a deeply personal cost. "

I have been in business for over twenty five years , I grew to a large co with over tweeny employees and I felt I was loosing the reigns on control of quality and experience setting my co. Above my competition I take pride in my work and knowledge of remodeling and pai noting needs I attended the art institute of Philadelphia for visual communications which I believe gives me the artistic edge my competitors simply don't have I will not try to beat prices you received from other. Contractors I know the right products and right way to do the job and always make sure to get a detailed description when getting estimates \nPaint house does not say whether or not they will pressure wash (2700 p.s.I. minimum),scrape , putty, replace damaged wood where necessary, primer one coat or just bare wood \nAnyway comparing apples to apples there's only a handful of capable insured companies in the area yes I'm sure you can get it done cheaper but you'll never beat out my experience or quality\nSo if you want job done correctly and meticulously by a local artist with plenty of happy customers you can talk to about their experience with our co.I'm one of the best choices you can make

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Pittston, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
