"They are really a top notch company: - they responded immediately to the inquiry - they sent Brian, an experienced HVAC solutions salesman. He â got itâ . We have a 1951-built house, with these 3.5â round â spider legâ ducts, heat only. We were told by other companies that those had to be replaced, and the result costed 2.5 x as much! He was the one who figured out if we ran a return duct up to the second floor, we could have A/C up to the second floor. - we had oil and converted to gas, purchased a new gas-fired unit and new central A/C using the existing ducts - the installers were top notch, worked non stop and were clean. They did not drag out the project. The communication between Brian and them was complete, they understood the various pieces of the scope. - we had a small hiccup in the beginning getting the initial work scheduled, but after that the front office was communicative on when folks would be coming out and completing the project. Not just their own workers but also their subs (electricians in our case, we hired plumber separately). - Iâ m now sitting in central a/c! "My wife and I recently had our furnace replaced by Rodenhiser Home Services. The initial problem was the igniter on our 22 year old system failed. We called Rodenhiser on Saturday morning, November 14, and although we were not a current customer, they stated they would schedule a technician to come to our home on an emergency basis. The technician was onsite within the hour and confirmed a failed igniter. Since we were going to replace the system anyway due to the AC condenser having failed the year prior, we asked to speak with Rick Picard, the HVAC Specialist. Rick discussed with my wife and I our options and worked with us to get the product we wanted installed as quickly as possible. Rick was extremely helpful throughout the process of describing which systems were available, and assisting with the securing of the MassSave Heat Loan Program. On the day of installation, we were greeted by Tyler Durran (Lead Installation Tech), and Matt (Apprentice Installation Tech). Both fine young men who were polite, courteous, and conscientious of their work. Both Tyler and Matt were professional and exhibited a solid work ethic and displayed genuine pride in their work. We were also greeted by Tim (Lead Electrician) and Alex (Apprentice Electrician) who were to handle the rewiring of our new furnace. Upon inspection of the Service Panel, they found the source connection from our electrical provider to be loose within the service panel and not making proper contact. It was a fire hazard and we were fortunate that the problem was identified. A call was placed to their manager, David Cassidy, who arrived and advised us of our options. We chose to have the entire service panel replaced, and David did an excellent job of dressing the cables and providing a neat service panel. He also took the time to use the current circuit breaker mapping we had to rewire the new breakers. All Rodenhiser personnel were professional and conscientious of their work. We would recommend Rodenhiser to those in need of the services they provide"

"I typically get several estimates before any major expense. I do this to gather information as well as compare price and the people behind the websites. Two other companies were recommended to me by friends. Accurate was my third estimate. My previous furnace was installed by Accurate and serviced by Accurate so I was going to check with them before buying a new furnace. Accurate even showed up first thing one winter morning when the furnace didn't turn on. 



Each estimate said something a little different about which furnace to buy and how it should be installed. Derek from Accurate showed up on time and appeared to know the product and the installation requirements - including the expectations of the local building inspector. The building inspector has to approve the installation when it is finished. I honestly don't know if I chose the right furnace by purchasing a TRANE. I didn't want the most expensive model and I wasn't pressured to buy it. I did buy the pricey air  filter since a family member has allergies. 



The installation process went very smoothly. The man who spent all day doing the installation was low-key, friendly, and appeared to be doing a careful job. E.g., he didn't talk on his cell or blare a radio. Accurate arranged for the plumber to do the gas line hook up and the electrician to connect the new furnace and install a CO2 alarm. The plumber returned at a later date to show the finished job to the building inspector.



 It took a lot of time to learn about the new high efficiency furnaces, talk to friends about how they managed home heating issues, and then meet with contractors. Since it's such an expensive and long-term purchase, it's a tough decision. I decided to stay with Accurate based on past experience and I think it was the right call.
