"Two spanish-speaking young men did the install. Although they spoke Spanish, they managed to communicate essential information about the installation. They first confirmed that the material they installed matched the existing flooring. Then they leveled each floor before putting down the laminate. I requested sealing the laminate to the baseboards but they said the company policy was to not do this due to movement of the walls and floor. They cleaned up after the job and put back furniture where it went. Overall, I am very satisfied."

"We recently completed two major bathroom renovations in our master bathrooms due to the lack of quality craftsmanship when our home was first built 5 1/2 years ago. To ensure the work was done correctly we hired our own plumber, shower enclosure vendor and selected Flooring Direct for all of our tile needs. From the initial engagement with Hiro as we selected out tile up until the last contractor left our home after they completed the installation, our experience with Flooring Direct has been nothing less of stellar. Although my husband and I fully know what we want, we don't exactly know what kind of products to select to completely get "there." Not only by the result of their work, but by the fact that they left the bathrooms cleaner than they found them. And after a 6 week project, there was a LOT to clean. When the shower enclosure representative came to our home to measure, he said (and I quote); "WOW! You can not get any more precise to the levels I am seeing on this installation. I have been in this industry a long time and I have never seen work done with such precision." With that, we would recommend Flooring Direct time any time again for any flooring needs you have. "Everything with this experience went beautifully. Arthur is the consummate professional. There was communication throughout every day of the project. (He even sent me pictures of the progress or any problem that came up along the way.) He had a crew of two guys working in my home who stayed busy the whole time. He was in communication with them throughout the day and if they had questions when he wasn’t at my home, they would contact him and he would call or text to ask me what I wanted or how I wanted something done. I had one wall underneath the breakfast bar that wasn’t plum. The tiles I was having installed were 12 x 60 each. I was going to have a small gap. He asked if I wanted the baseboard raised to put a sliver of tile in the space or grout up to the baseboard as I had done in other rooms. He said that he just wanted me to be aware that if he filled the area with grout, it might look a little off. It was a very thin area so I had him fill it with grout. I can”t even tell it’s there. All my tiles look like old hardwood flooring and the grout turned out to be a perfect match. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! There aren’t many out there like him. The tile is beautiful and should stand up easily to four dogs. : >)"

"After researching many companies and getting many estimates, I decided to go with Floor Covering International. I have had a very bad experience last year with a contractor that was highly recommended by my real estate agent, so I was really afraid and even doubting my abilities to choose a contractor properly. I am extremely picky (I call it *selective* or I prefer to think I just have *very high standards*). I have a new home (1-year old) and I was trying to match wood floors to my existing floors, without looking like it was an after thought. Ben and Ryan were super nice, professional and responsive since the very first interaction. Any time I emailed him, he replied the same day with a phone call, to clarify all my doubts and make sure things were going to be done to my liking. The crew came at the agreed day/time: Gabriel, Franco, Santiago and Jesus. OMG they did an OUTSTANDING job! They removed the trim, installed the hardwood floors, put the trim back and painted the trim. I was very concerned about how they would paint the trim (I know they are not painters, they are a floor company). But actually the trim job looked even better than the original job done by the builders. One of the pieces got damaged when they removed it, which they said it may happen, but they replaced that piece with a new piece. Both rooms they did look spectacular, the transition from the existing floors is perfect, I cannot even tell exactly where the transition happens. They matched it perfectly for me. They also installed wood paneling in my power room for an accent wall. It looks super amazing. They kept me informed at all times of their schedule, and the crew worked very late, with my permission, to finish the project soon for me. I tried to tip and they refused. *Just doing my job* they said. :) OMG this was the best experience ever, and also the best investment in years. I am so happy! I am doing another bedroom next year, have no doubt I will call them again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

From initial contact to coming over for an estimate and providing a detailed estimate was done all within 72 hours.
