"Let me just start off by saying that Jonathan has been a Godsend! We were in desperate need of foundation repair as well some other things (door insulation, sub floor repair, skirting replacement, etc.) that another contractor didn’t complete and/or do so well. Jonathan came to take a look at the job and informed us that he could do it with minimal issues. He was he right! I must say that just like many others we’ve had our share of bad contractors so we were a little hesitant to put our trust in him. He reassured us that he could do the job. He is definitlely a man of his word! Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with his work, he was very prompt, very courteous and did everything that he said he would. I HIGHLY recommend him! If you are hestitant, take a chance on him, you won’t be dissapointed. He will definitely be our go to person for future projects!"

"Veteran garage door tech. “Rodger” showed up at exactly the appointed time. Introduced himself and went right to work, discussing with me what he’d be doing to correct the damage (I caused to my garage door panels, tracks and cables of my cable door drums. I purchased and attempted to install a set of new springs myself.)….Note to homeowners….I’m a pretty experienced mechanical tech myself; performing most of my own home & minor auto repairs over many decades. My complete inexperience with garage door systems could have gotten me seriously injured as I did not realize the potential energy I was placing in winding up the EXTREMELY OVERRATED torsion bar springs I INCORRECTLY purchased on line!!) So after receiving that well-meaning, much-deserved “critique,” Rodger successfully straightened out and realigned most all my damage without having to replace a lot of my “bent-up” components. He placed the PROPER-sized torsion bar springs, a very worn sprocket of my chain drive motor and adjusted the chain, etc. Most impressed by the expertise and speed in which he was able to do all that work (without a helper) in less than an hour-1/2 at most. Great experience; sincere folks (was told their company is a start-up since our area’s Hurricane Katrina of 2005.) Recommending their service to anyone (including do-it-yourselfers as myself). Thank you, Access Garage Door Co. (and Rodger) for your great service."

"m. Hired them to renovate a house for rental. Projects included painting most rooms with eggshell on walls and semigloss on trim; refinish hardwood floors; install new laminate counters and hi boy faucet. <br /> <br /> Things started off well. I kept hearing "two weeks and we'll get it done".  We started second week in September. Finished right before Christmas. <br /> <br /> All paint was flat, no eggshell, no semigloss. Paint was sloppy, baseboards were leaking paint around the wood. Paint streaks smeared all over the windows. Didn't finish painting the front door. Hardwood finish was sloppy. Paint dripped all over the floor especially in places you wouldn't think to look like inside closets. This was fixed but only after repeated complaints. <br /> <br /> Bath remodel went well however they didn't caulk around the tub and messed up my flooring during the install (I have pics) <br /> I complained before final payment was made and Craig did the best he could to fix it up (he caulked around the tub and cleaned up the sloppy paint and added another layer of varnish to the hardwood floors) and it looks much better than it did. But I could have saved money by hiring subcontractors myself rather than trust someone to coordinate it all for me. <br /> <br /> Contract was signed in 2nd week of September and a few weeks turned into three months. I was naive and paid too much. $7500 out of my savings. I'll be renting this place much longer than I'd have liked to just to recoup costs. I'm not even finished, thank goodness I didn't hire them to replace the laminate in the kitchen, bath, and utility room. They may have started out strong but seemed to run out of steam. <br /> <br /> I have revised this review because I think it was too harsh. I will say that they were never rude, and always polite and apologetic about delays. But I still wish I'd hired individual contractors to do specific jobs rather than hire one company."

"It went great! This is by far the most professional small business I have dealt with in a while. I felt like we had a connection with them from the start. I requested an estimate and collected three before these guys showed up. Everyone of the others told me that I needed to gut the entire room and start over. Trinity Reps. looked into it and concluded that that was not necessary and that they could just repair around the damaged area itself. They also called in a mold expert (at no expense to me) to determine if there was any present. None was found! These guys repaired the damage at half the cost of the others and were in and out in one day. I was so pleased I signed them to a one year home maintenance contract. <br /> Great job guys!- Christopher A Hardin <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Plaucheville, LA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
