The unit is 17 yrs old and told us it was up to us but we need to get a new A/C in the future. It could go out and be costly to repair. We did decide to get a new one. The.y also subtracted the cost of the freon from the installation cost of a new A/C. One thing that was very impressive was that they were very punctual and gave us estimated time to have work completed.
