"We sequentially hired two different handyfolk to fix our leaking washing machine. The drain line was tied into a primary drain line, which was OK by code, but miserable in practice, as there is no way to snake it. All this was diagnosed and completed the same day the second handyperson came out. My wife is overjoyed with the washing machine functioning after several weeks of more and more frequent floods.
