"The computer was barely out. He wasn't able to do a lot with it. He said it needed to be replaced. He was very professional. He told me upfront what he's going to do. After he was finished, he explained what he did. He seemed very knowledgeable."

"After having had a variety of problems, my laptop finally completely crashed. I contacted Dan at Tech Guru and he was IMMEDIATELY available to help me our of my panic (this is my work computer and I really needed it working or I wouldn't make money). When it became evident that my computer couldn't be repaired, Dan very patiently went through my options and answered any questions I had. I finally decided to purchase a Dell laptop through Tech Guru (they got a better price on it than I could on my own). Dan set me up with a loaner laptop on the spot and loaded all of the stuff I needed. Dan then asked whether he could have Colin work with me on the new computer stuff and I said yes. Colin began right away by helping me when I had questions about the loaner laptop. He was extremely responsive, provided great explanations and even worked on evenings and weekends to help make sure I had everything I needed without interrupting my work day. Once my new computer arrived, Colin immediately contacted me to let me know and lickety-split got it up and running and delivered it to me. He made very sure I was satisfied (and since he managed to recover all of the information off of my old computer and looking exactly like it looked before - I WAS EXTREMELY SATISFIED!). I am extremely happy with my new laptop and all of the great service. It is worth noting that I had used Tech Guru before on a couple of occassions and was happy with their service. I had never faced a problem quite as dramatic as this though and was really in a panic. Since Dan recognized that I had hired Tech Guru before, he asked whether I would be interested in Tech Guru's "Enlighted IT Service." It was not a hard sales pitch (thank goodness!). Dan explained that the Enlightened IT Service would allow me to pay a set price per month (basically a retainer) and then Tech Guru would be able to help me with any computer problem I have (rather than paying an hourly rate). The price was super reasonable and I signed up. The Enlightened IT Service has already paid for itself as I've found myself with a few different questions having to do with my quickbooks and Colin was able to help me out remotely. I'm no longer seeing dollar signs every time I need computer help! And the response time is incredible - as though I have my own in-house computer people. I am extremely happy with this company. They've helped make sure my company keeps working. I do not imagine anything that will get me to change to another provider since I just keep having great experiences with them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"

"Mark is not only knowledgeable, but very easy to talk to. I am not very knowledgeable <br />on the computer. He had a great deal of patience with me. He got rid of a lot of useless information, and helped me access what I needed. He let me know the charges after I has used my initial time and explained all the charges up front. He told me if I had any issues or did not understand something to call him back. I did have somethings I did not understand and after calling him back and talking them through I decided the best thing to do is buy a new computer as mine is extremely out of date and does not suit my needs. Mark does not sell computers, but took the time to tell me based on my usage and needs, what I should buy. He did all this at no charge and even told me that I could call him if I had questions when purchasing the machine. I'm sure I will definitely call if I need help in the future and can't say enough about him."

"Bruce is hard to describe. How anyone in a small business can be as persistent, honest, thorough, reasonably priced, and pleasant all at the same time is a pretty tall order. Oh yea, and he can repair computers too!! After 3 trips to the store with my ailing laptop that had an intermittent screen problem, he was finally able to replicate it in-store. Talk about patience and persistence. When he did find the source of the problem, replaced just the screen and nothing else. He could have easily replaced more parts and I would have paid more money, but that in a nutshell is why I am writing this review. Did what needed to be done, nothing more,nothing less. What a pleasure to do business with. Even showed me the old screen and explained where the issue was. Total time including ordering the part: one week. <br /> I know where I am headed when/if my home laptop goes belly up on me. Straight to Bruce at The Computer House... <br />"
