"They showed up on time, did the work in professional and logical manner. They described what had to be done in easy to understand terms. The completed the work in the time frame that they had laid out and the rate charged was the rate we agreed on."

"Exceptional service! I requested the services for my senior parents, and they told me that they were very pleased with the process pre-, during, and post- repair of their foundation. They mentioned how punctual the team was and the fact that they could feel the difference in the flooring after the foundation repairs were complete. I am very appreciative that they went out to a very rural area of Alabama. I highly recommend APS!"

"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."

"The work done was high quality and on budget, highly recommended. Joe worked closely with us to keep costs low and create a plan for completing the repairs on time"

"Yellow hammer carpentry did a good job for this project. I rehired him to do more work in my property."

"Repairs to the chimney and roof where water had caused damage and replaced rotted fascia.  R & A Roofing had repaired problems with a roof at a prior home so I was aware of the exceptional work they do.  They respond immediately to provide an estimate and time-frame for  completion of the project.

"Jamie made a beautiful wooden flag for me as a going away gift from the team I used to work with. Craftsmanship was perfection. It hangs over my mantle in my house. My wife put it there so that should say a great deal about his workmanship. Jamie is the kind of guy that will give you his absolute best and then some. He is the first guy I call when I have any carpentry needs."

I took advantage of a coupon offered by the contractor to have a new ceiling fan installed for $74.00 which was a good value, since price quotes I had received for the job from other contractors ranged from $100.00 to $200.00.

I received a email from the owner, Sam Shorrosh, within hours of purchasing the coupon.  He was professional and articulate and scheduled a appointment within 48 hours; not for lack of work but because he was willing to come after hours on a weekend to complete the job as soon as possible if I was agreeable,

Sam Shorrosh, called prior to the appointment to confirm and arrived on time.  He wore a shirt clearly identifying the name of his company, "Help Around The House", and was clean, neat, and professional.

Before removing the existing fan Sam, after a quick inspection, ask if I would prefer the existing fan to be repaired if possible or just replaced with the new fan I already had on hand?  Since the fan was relatively new, just out of warranty, I opted for the repair.  Within thirty minutes he had made the necessary repairs to the fan saving me $180.00, the cost of the new fan.

Since I purchased a coupon to have a fan installed I did not take note of the name of his business until he actually arrived, assuming he must be an electrician.  I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he and his contractors are much more than electricians, as the business name suggest "Help Around The House", they can complete most any job a homeowner would need to accomplish around the house.

I have already ask Sam to give me quotes on a few odds and ends I need completed around the house and would certainly recommend him to family and friends.

"Oxen and his team obviously take pride in their work. They are respectful, clean up after themselves and leave the property better than they found it. They repaired the entire width of the back of our home. It had extensive water rot to the sides, eaves, and even a hole in the roof. Oxen then repaired other areas of fascia, siding & trim around the rest of the house. They then painted the exterior. Everything looks wonderful! Oxen is able to give you a budget and breakdown the “must-dos”. We would recommend Oxen and his team and will definitely use them again."
