"After close examination I discovered a common hose clamp was used to attach the PEX return line to the unit. They have a special clamp for plastic and a half inch fitting with a hose clamp that is way too big was inappropriate. We contacted him immediately after the first flushing due to excessive water production, he suggested condensation was the issue. We installed a dehumidifier dedicated to the very small space but continued to have excessive water on the floor. I finally jammed myself into the space and examined it closely. Pressurized water was spraying and dripping from a fitting which I have attached a photo of. Even a casual observer will notice the excessive tail on the hose clamp suggesting it was inappropriate. When I called he said the clamp was fine and " sometimes the fitting cracks". I am now facing drywall repairs due to black mold and the correct fitting needs to be installed. I suggest if you have excessive " condensation " you examined the plumbing carefully"

"Marcus came over the day after I requested the quotes (quotes requested Sunday, he came Monday.) He assessed the situation and explained options and pricing. He very willingly attempted the lower cost option first, even though we had doubts it would work. He told if it did not work and we had to go to the higher cost option, I would only be charged for that, not both. We did have to go to that option and he was able to clear the clog from my sewer line. He then inspected with a camera and showed me that there were several roots intruding on the line. He recommended repeating the process with a nozzle designed to remove these. He did not have that on his truck, so another visit was scheduled for today with a different tech. This was also successful and it was clear from the camera inspection at the end that the roots were gone. I was expected a horrible mess from this process, and was very happy that both operations were completed with minimal additional sludge in my basement."

"Very well. Needed a water heat within 4 weeks (so I didn't need to buy more oil and it was installed in 10 days from initial contact. Delivery and install timely, professional and they were very careful to manure the water heater carefully through the house and down very narrow basement stairs and around corners. Re the post below: I also had hot water off the furnace and was planning on shutting the furnace down. They told me they'd leave the furnace connected to make sure everything worked and was running properly because it took 2 hours to get the water to temperature. When you shut a furnace down you should know that it'll take a service call to start it up again. (It's not a car). I shut mine down 72 hours after install and hope to never try and have it restarted! :-) PS Heat pumps rock! My only criticism is they did not tell me anything about the warranty. I already sort of knew but the paper warranty included with the manual would seem to be all you need when you actually have to go online and register it. Some people wouldn't know that. They did explain/show where the filter was and how to clean it. The office staff was helpful even though I called multiple times for info. Like everyone right now they are swamped with calls and new business and short handed at times. Overall ery happy with my choice of companies!"

The plumber took half a day and did NOT complete his work, did NOT rework the P trap, and did NOT even clean up after himself. That did not stop them from charging us almost $700. I myself work in the trades, and I could not conceive of charging someone that much for incomplete work."
