There was some trouble getting parts in my small town and I was without water for several days. Anyway, I now have running water again! "My old water heater went out yesterday and of course leaked water all over. I shut it off and stopped the leaking. Called early this morning looking for someone to install a new one. Jim was actually sent over by another plumber who could not get to my job right away. Jim showed up, looked at the job, we talked about the options and he gave me a bid. Let to get the new water heater. We back in about thirty minutes. He had to make some changes to the water and gas lines. Added shut offs and installed new one. Took the time to explain operation and maintenance of the new one. Cleaned up the work site. Removed all debris and old water heater. I was impressed with his work and his attitude.

"Pipepals plumbing was 10 stars! Choice was 4 stars. They were timely in assigning the job but I had to keep an eye in the website as notifications did not get pushed via email as expected. They also wouldn't cover all the work recommended by the plumber. Essentially I had a broken pvc in an outside faucet and they wanted him to reuse the faucet instead of replacing it. So I would have had a 1/2 in pipe with 2 connectors...to an old faucet just to save $30. I paid out of pocket so it's right but really? Again plumber was AWESOME. Showed early and returned next day to confirm leak was fixed and patched the holes."

"Keith is amazing! He helped us remodel three rooms in our home! He first helped with our bathroom which originally was used as a half bathroom/half laundry room. He helped separate the two rooms, and build in a shower for us to make a full bathroom! He made it just how we wanted it- it looks AMAZING! "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
