"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

". His work is thorough and fair. Almost every home has some issue that needs addressed Andy follows a detailed criteria and reports his findings in a straightforward manner. If something in his report is unclear he will try hard to explain and will not make a big deal out of some small problem. Sometimes you don't want to hear what he has to say, especially if you are the seller, but you can count on it being right. <br /> In addition to using Summit Inspection for my clients, when I bought my present home I had Summit Inpections do the pre-buy inspection for me. <br />"

"I was totally impressed with his care and nurses. I had been very sick with a number of illnesses, both of which came on at the same time period., I had a good doc but he moved to practice medicine and play with developing computer and became not a good physician when for  20 years he was what I referred to as a true healer.....Looking for a doctor as I needed a family doc among all the other specialty docs.... <br /> I would refer Dr. Bethman to any of my friends or anyone. Dr. Bethman is one excellent family practice doc......."

"About one week after the inspection the company returned and fixed everything. It now looks a lot more like what we had been promised and were expecting. They even replaced the hammer they broke as promised. I would hire Dry Basement again. They owned their mistakes and corrected them. They really did put the customer first. Thanks guys."

"The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Poplar Bluff, MO

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
