"My clothes took a long time to dry and sure enough, the vent needed to be cleaned. After cleaning the vent, it made a huge difference and my dryer doesn't need to run as long as it was running. They removed a large "lint brick" from the dryer vent exit - it had a screen on it. This "brick" was over an inch thick! There was no way the air was able to escape out of the vent."
