"We called rapid repairs about our broken water heater.  Elly came over and quoted us a price that was very reasonable compared to other plumbers we called.  After we agreed on the price, Elly went to work.  By that afternoon we had wonderful hot water again."

"I am very happy with Jones services they saved me out of two messes first my main water line was frozen, they were the only ones that were capable and ready to get her back to a normal life and they unfroze my main water line with ease second my heating system was horrendous and just sucking mug money straight out of my pockets. They can and analyzed what I needed and in 2 days i had an entire new heat pump system installed covering my entire home (4 bedrooms three floors chalet style) and the systems work amazing. The technicians involved were professionals and neat and thorough. Tim, Estilo, Jim C and his crew and I am sorry that i could not get everyone?s band name but they were all amazing!! Thank you Jones Services"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kevin at Total Plumbing is the absolute best! Our Navien combo system was acting up, and another company (T Webber) told us it needed to be replaced entirely—for $7,000—even though it was still under warranty and this fee was just for their labor! Thankfully, we called Kevin for a second opinion, and we’re so glad we did! Kevin quickly identified the real issue and assured us the unit didn’t need to be replaced, just repaired with a few new parts. He fixed everything for a fraction of the cost and saved us thousands of dollars. His honesty, expertise, and professionalism are unmatched. Thank you for being so reliable and trustworthy, Kevin! Highly recommend Total Plumbing to anyone in need of an honest and skilled plumber!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Port Jervis, NY

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
