"Emergency Rooter, LLC is a very reliable, punctual, professional plumbing and drain cleaning company. I called this company and they responded in about 2 minutes after I left a message they called me right back on a Sunday morning. I told him the problem that I had, which was 2 toilets that wouldn't flush and kept backing up, he told me to text him my address and he was here in 20 minutes and solved my problem quickly, efficiently at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs."

"Blower motor was out on the condenser unit. Called AC ambulance and scheduled service for next day. Reception said someone would call and set time. They did--service person arrived on time (Vincent) he checked unit, didn't have part, knew where to get--he noted that unit should still be under warranty and motor should be covered--I am 2nd owner of unit---Part was available next day--Vincent called me to let me know of availability and set return time--He showed up on time again--he had to argue with parts guy about warranty coverage for the motor--(I didn't ask him to do this)- -he got it covered under warranty, else it would have cost me a small fortune (computer controlled part)--he installed part and checked unit---it was clear he knew what he was doing--It was also clear that he was very experienced in the service industry because he kept me, the customer, informed of what was going on with the job start to finish--AC ambulance also honored their Angie's list coupon--I would call this company again---good work!!"

"They are really great. The way the represent themselves. They are the first people I always call. I have used them for the last couple of years. They are really responsive. They always answer the phone, they always come out. I am glad I have them in my contact book. They leave everything clean and they explain everything."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Port Sulphur, LA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
