"Mr. Brian Langford made all the arrangements with the installation of our gas hot water heater from Lowe's via McCarthy plumbing. He was extremely helpful,patient, professional and available to answer all questions. Due to his approach to his work, we will be working with both companies in the future. Only concern I have is the warranty between Lowe's and AO Smith Hot water heaters. Once the heater is installed, Lowe's severs ties. If there is a problem with the hot water heater, you cannot return it to Lowe's although it was purchased through them, this is clearly stated on the Hot water heater in bold writing."

Unfortunately, the water heater is behind my HVAC, so they had to remove the HVAC, remove the old water heater, install the new heater, and replace the HVAC. They did a perfect job. "My sump pump went out. I had a membership with a home warranty company. They assigned Jerry's Plumbing. The response time was exceptional, and it was actually Jerry who responded. I found him extremely personable and friendly. You gotta like a person who has a big smile on his face. Jerry examined the sump pump. I believe it was the motor that went out. It was probably around 15 years old at the time. So, he pulled the old pump. So, he went to his truck and brought in a new pump. He explained to me that my home warranty would pay for a low-grade pump. I understood. I understood my home warranty contract. He then told him he was going to install a higher grade pump. So, I'm wondering how much that would cost me above my $100 deductible. I'll never forget his response. I can't remember it verbatim, but he essentially said, "don't worry about it. This is the sump pump you need for this house." Trust me... I was Wowed! Jerry didn't need to do that for me! But, he did. And, I'll never forget that. He immediately established know, like and trust with me. My wife and I have used Jerrys Plumbing ever since. They replaced my garbage disposal, broken internal water pipes in our home, a frost free outside hose bib, and most recently installed a water powered back up sump pump. That water powered back up sump pump really provides my family piece of mind. I've had way too much water in my finished basement because my electricity went out and my electric sump pump obviously didn't work! I don't need to shop around for a less expensive plumber that I don't know. I feel safe and secure with Jerry's Plumbing. He's my plumber for life! If I have any advice to offer it's this. "At 7pm on Saturday the 15th, In the middle of the Presidents` Day holiday, the value on my tenant’s apartment radiator started to leak at the rate of 1/2 c every half hour. My house, and the radiator, is 111 years old. I frantically called two 24 hour emergency plumbers and none of them came through. I then called Magnolia, who I had never used before, and Jose Vilche came to my house 40 minutes later. He had to drain the radiators and shut off the water flow as he could not remove the valve, but about 8:20 the next morning he arrived with his assistant, Angel, to cap that radiator and refill the system. He returned on Tuesday, as I had to work on Monday, with his supervisor who was finally able to remove the valve. The radiator stays capped until Tuesday the next week (accommodating my work schedule) when Vincent and Angel install the new valve. I had them also install a new drain valve on a second apartment radiator. So now, after all the draining and bleeding and testing for water balance, the radiators are functioning better than they ever had before. While Magnolia is not inexpensive, the cost was definately worth my peace of mind. Jose was in constant contact with me, he arrived exactly on schedule, explained each step along the way and worked diligently on my horrible problem until it was resolved. Thank you Magnolia- this was a stressful time for me and I was very satisfied with the service I had received!"

"The audit went well.  The follow-on work (water heater replacement, heat pump replacement, and caulking).
They did a pretty good job.  They did sub out the water heater and heat pump parts.  The new water heater had a heat pump unit on it too.  The water heater had an alarm that went out and was eventually replaced.
The subs did test my patience when they started late and ended even later than they said they would.  I eventually told them they had to get out at a certain time.
I took a year to write this because I wanted to back it up with cost savings info.  Unfortunately, the jury is still out on whether or not the system is paying for itself.
