"We were very pleased with the work that was done and service that we received.  We received four quotes ranging from $600.00  to $1500.00 to repair the bumper. Same Day did the repair for $380.00 and they made the bumper look as if it was new! <br />"

"Estimator was prompt, friendly, and professional. He was honest about what could and couldn't be cost-effectively repaired (he didn't think that replacing the worn cushion leather was a good value given the age of the couch.) He provided the estimate on the spot. Two friendly, professional guys came out to the house a couple weeks later, and worked for several hours. The quality of the repairs is excellent- the furniture was completely transformed, and everything except for the highly worn couch cushions could almost pass for new. Even the most cracked leather cushion looks significantly better after cleaning and minor repairs. Whatever they used to clean the newer couch completely removed the dull layer of newspaper ink. The repairs weren't cheap, but for 20% of what I paid for the couches 25 years ago, I'll get another few years out of them before the most worn cushion leather completely cracks. Then I'll have to decide whether to re-cover them, or sell the remaining pieces and buy something new. They did such a good job on the repairs, my guess is that it will be worthwhile putting new leather on the cushions instead of buying a new set, and then I'll get another couple decades out of the furniture. Either way, I'm very happy with the work they did."

"The technician showed up at the scheduled appointment time.  Upon stepping into the house, he immediately removed his shoes and began asking about the history of the carpet and what types of pets we had, what type of vacuum did we use and how we typically cleaned the carpet when there was an accident.  <br /> He took measurements and checked some spots on the carpet and vacuumed the entire house.  After completing the vacuuming, he discussed a couple spots where the carpet was stained. He took the time to explain the value of cleaning stains right away rather than having the stain set in the carpet material.  He suggested a couple simple cleaning solutions we might use in the future.  He then shampooed the carpets thoroughly.  <br /> I recall he was in and out of our home in about three hours.  He was informative and we learned some things about carpets we hadn't considered.  He worked efficiently and quietly.  Always knocking and removing his shoes when entering our home. Clearly providing a services is important to this company.  My wife and I feel we have found the company we will now have clean and maintain our carpets.  We felt we definitely received the service we paid for. We highly recommend this company. <br />"

"Terry Dote is a thorough, very talented designer. He worked with us in collaborative stages, staying patient & persevering while designing, constructing, & installing for 3 separate spaces in our home. One was a challenging, triangular opening along a staircase for which he created a combination of shelving, storage, & privacy for the  adjacent bedroom. The second is a floor to ceiling wall of open shelves, giving delineation between the Master Bedroom & the Art Studio while preserving sunlight & Mt. Hood views. The 3rd is a complex, whole wall unit for the Home Office consisting of open & closed storage above & below a wall-length table/desk-top. The solutions were in response to my husband's specific ways of filing & organizing with room for decorative display. All 3 projects are sleek & smart, harmonized with the modern lines of our home. Terry graciously worked with us after the initial plans faced a budget cut. He modified to lower costs without sacrificing the beauty or practicality of any of the 3 projects."

"<p>I called Key Home Furnishings and spoke to Alan, the customer support person, who was very apologetic but really could not do anything  himself to help us, except to tell us he will contact the Flex-Steel technician for our territory and ask when he can come take a look at the problem.  Imagine our stress and unhappiness - we had waited for 3 weeks for delivery, and after only one day, we have a broken/useless brand new chair.  I stressed my extreme disappointment to Alan and requested that he call the Flex-Steel technician and have him call me back that same day.  He agreed to do that.</p> <p>About an hour later, I received a phone call from Matt Tegman from Leather Medic of Oregon.  I described the problem and he understood immediately what needed to be done.  He gave me instructions over the phone and the problem was solved!  (There is a wire which plugs into the motor that raises the leg support portion of the chair, and while it appeared to be connected/plugged into the motor, it apparently was not making proper contact.  The wire had been zipped-tied to the frame of the chair and didn't allow  enough slack in the cable to let the plug make proper connection with the motor.  I simply had to move the zipped tied cable about two inches, which allowed enough slack that I was able to press on the plug and insure it made proper connection with the chair's motor.</p> <p>Matt was very well informed and knew all about the Flex Steel model we had purchased.  HIs phone call to me was very prompt and he understood the problem and our anxiety completely.  He gave me very clear, easily understood instructions over the phone and the problem was solved.  I am now back to being a happy customer with my brand new motorized recliner Flex Steel chair!</p> <p>Many thanks to Matt and his company, Leather Medic of Oregon.  I would highly recommend Matt for any type of furniture repair or warranty work.  He seems like a very professional business person who recognizes the value of customer service.  Thanks, Matt!!</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Phil Benson</p> <p>Beaverton, Oregon<br /> <br /></p> <br />"
