"The employee came to their appointment at around 10:30am (I was given a 9a-12p window). The worker was courteous and straightforward. For the 2 Room and Board pieces, he fixed these and explained to me why they needed help and what he did. It was fixed (in like 10 minutes, but me being inept at fixing anything, is not the issue) <br /> The third thing I asked him was what I was a bit not happy with. I had a cracked chair. He said it would need to be taken into the shop with a nail put in and glued back together. This was fine. He said it would be $55 and he could take it back today. But for delivery, he would need to charge $35. Hmmm, $55 to repair and $35 to get it delivered back? He kept on telling me about the high gas prices. I said, I'd be happy to pay him $8 for gas, but he then said that this was the price for the last 20 years. Anyway, I'm not driving to Arlington Heights to get the chair, and I won't pay 40% of the price on delivery of a chair, so I'll just have to figure some other way... <br /> Overall, it was a good experience. <br /> <br />"

"No problems with the work itself or the professionalism.  Only a few weeks out, the work seems to be high-quality.  My issue was with the price, which seems high for the amount of work performed.  The pickup and delivery were $55 each way.  Creating a lumbar pillow cost $95.  Repairing the two chairs cost $450.  Given the apparent quality of the work, it's likely I would utilize this provider again, although I would weigh this heavily against the cost of replacement."
