"After calling several roofing companies for pricing and availability, I scheduled a roof maintenance service with Southern Strong because they offered the best price AND could accommodate my schedule. The very next day, Wade arrived promptly, inspected my roof, and then showed me photos as he explained the situation: the flashing around the exhaust fan (as well as other places) was not properly sealed, and there were several exposed nails and penetrations. After he caulked the exposed nails and re-secured the headwall flashing, he showed me photos of the completed work. He said that if that these repairs didn't solve the problem, he would recommend replacing the flashing and the affected shingles. "Jamison and Matt were great to work with. They were generous with their time in coming out and talking through what I needed to do to repair the gutters on my house and fix our drainage issues. Matt was very knowledgeable about drainage issues. They quoted me the best price among other bidders and explained the benefits of repairing my gutters vs the benefits of replacing them. One to avoid:  Solar Advantage.  Bugged us to death, tried to trick us into going with them; sent long email telling us how awful Sunpro is, which was all untrue.  All others contacted in our area no where near came close to Sunpro - with info, professionalism, knowledge, straightforwardness, & follow-up.
Note:  They plan the panels for $25,000 in order for LA residents to get the full 50% LA rebate ($12,500) & 30% Federal credit ($7,500), leaving $5,000 as our portion.

"We have had Steve as our handyman since 2004. When you find a good person you hang on to them. Steve does everything. This time he rebuilt a closet, repaired a host of "honey do" items, trimmed back trees from over our house, swept the roof clear of debris, and cut and stacked eveything for brush pick up. Over the course of our relationship he has repaired the roof and exterior including masonry, repaired everything from minor appliances to laying wood floors, tile, remodeling a bathroom, putting covered gutters in,repaired our chimney. We usually have him advise us about what needs to be done at least once a year. That is how much we trust his judgment.
