"We sing the contract; the contractor came and measured the concrete stairs and existing broken handrail, and we got quote sing the contracts paid deposit and they came to install it just to see that the handrail they ordered was too small. Then they went silent for 2 months. It is October and we sing contract in August, we finally got response that the contractor got busy with larger projects...This is very disrespectful and non professional behavior."

"After they redid our counter tops and island, we had them paint out cabinets and build shelves up to the ceiling. The communication was on point this time and the results speak for themselves. Would definitely recommend them to anyone for any home project. "

"Mark and his crew did an excellent job remodeling my bathroom. It looks absolutely beautiful. His crew also put in lighting in my kitchen and removed some cabinetry. The kitchen now looks more spacious. They also replaced the flooring in one of my bathroom downstairs. I was so pleased with the upstairs bathroom, I had Mark and his crew remodel my downstairs bathroom. My son and daughter-in-law were so impressed with the results, they wanted Mark to work on their home but they live outside his service area."

"Victor and crew have done all they said they would do, on time and with enthusiasm. I will post again, with pictures when job is done. They are in the early stages of a bedroom extension with an added bathroom and they are right on schedule. His bid was reasonable and on time, so if you are in process of getting bids ( get several at least); I highly recommend that you add Victor Pilar to your list of contractors to contact. We are very happy with them, and can’t wait to see the finished project! Don’t let his shorter list of recommendations fool you! "

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Poway, CA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
