I am an automotive engineer with 30 years of experience and I was really impressed with Don and his amount of experience, building skills, and extensive knowledge of construction techniques. What really sold me was when Don offered to text me photos of the project along the way on my cell phone. We collaborated on issues when there were questions. It was almost like I was right there, even though I was 400 miles away. Don really built us a quality home, strong enough to handle the heaviest snow loads in the snow belt of the lower peninsula. He has a great business sense and the people skills to keep his crews in line. Most of all, Don seems to really care about the projects that he works on. He once went the extra mile to plow our heavily snowed driveway just so I could get into our new house to review some of his work. He finished our shell with many extra personal touches that we added along the way. He made the changes we wanted and didn't try to talk us out of them just because it would be easier. All this was done in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend Don for his innovation, quality, cost, character, and timeliness. This guy is a real winner!
