Alabama Abatement, Inc. (256-352-5439) has been in business for over 30 years providing asbestos removal and testing services throughout the State of Alabama. We are a small company that specializes in HOUSE JOBS even though we do some (small) commercial work as well. Warren Renshaw is personally at every A.A.I. job site. Mr. Renshaw's experience in the asbestos industry goes back to 1987 when he worked for Law Engineering, Inc. as a technician that monitored many asbestos removal projects. In 1994 Renshaw struck out on his own providing asbestos testing and removal services. A.A.I. is licensed through ADEM to remove asbestos in the State of Alabama. We are also insured with general & professional liability as well as workers compensation. So from asbestos inspections to report writing and asbestos removal, we do it all. Sawyer Williams was great at explaining the issue and the costs, and it was a no pressure visit. He explained to me the four causes of water in a crawlspace and suggested the best way to SOLVE the problem, not put a band aid on it. They have just finished a full encapsulation, sump pump, and dehumidifier with a digital thermostat I can monitor from in my home. The workmen came out on schedule - were friendly, responsible, and efficient. Sawyer came back to get under the house and inspect their work.
