"Theo is absolutely wonderful to work with. He's an old school man of his word, as well as a talented contractor. His guys are skilled and fast. Very good carpentry, plumbing and electrical. He first finished our dank basement and turned it into a beautiful space, then moved on to gutting our kitchen and other upstairs details. Highly highly recommended. Besides being timely and competent, he quickly addressed issues that arose - a shower floor than needed to be pitched correctly, and some areas around a window they put in. We are continuing to ask Theo to work on projects at our businesses and will contact him in the future for any more home renovation we have."

"Albert and his team were incredible. From the moment I found his company online until the final walkthrough everything about the project was smooth sailing. He is extremely professional, helpful and communicative. All elements of the remodel were planned in the contract and were 100% on budget. There were no unexpected cost additions at any point. Any speed-bumps were communicated at the moment they arose and were dealt with immediately and to both of our satisfaction. Aside from his impeccable management of the project, the level of artistry and precision of everything installed was incredible. I have never met a group of people so meticulous and precise. All tile placements were planned out together and confirmed. When I was unable to be there in person, Albert and his project manager sent over pictures confirming all of the details. They turned a NYC "unleveled" and outdated bathroom into a perfectly leveled, designed and functional bathroom. The project remained on-schedule and was completed in the time I anticipated. When the project was complete all debris and garbage were removed and it was like as if they were never there! I would 1000% work with Albert again and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!"

"They came on time every day, cleaned up before they left. Clean work. One or two aesthetic issues that were resolved after I pointed them out. "

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Queens, NY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
