"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."

"Very professional and excellent service. Upon my request for information, Jose contacted me immediately. He arrived at my house to give me a quote within the specified time frame and when it came time to complete the installation he also arrived per the agreed timeframe. Jose installed a new range hood which required adding an external exhaust since my old one just recirculated the air. He picked up all the required duct items prior to arriving to complete the installation of the range hood . He included all the required materials in his quote. The final cost of the installation matched his quote."

"I have a Home Warranty with AHS and the Home Warranty company called A-1 Appliance to come out and do my repairs.  A-1 Appliance told my husband many parts were needed and would be ordered and they'd be back in touch to schedule the next visit.
 I heard nothing by 4 days later so I called the AHS and they knew nothing.  It turns out  that A-1 does not work on "sealed systems" but they did not convey that or anything else to my Home Warranty Company who also dropped the ball.  They next called New England Appliance Repair who came right away and also told me they needed many parts.  Instead of waiting days and days, N.E. Appliance expedited the shipment of the parts and they're return to my home so that within a couple of days the repairman Bill was back here repairing not only my refrigerator but my wall oven as well which was way off temperature.  I will tell AHS in the future that I only want to use N.E.A.!"
