"Akers outdoor plumbing came to see us when our water bills were astronomical and we concluded there was a leak outside the house. We discussed an appropriate replacement for our pipe, concluding it was likely the 40+ year old original had failed. Akers handed permit arrangement for the job and came out promptly to do the work as soon as they had an opening in their schedule. The job was done well with good communication about the need to break into our driveway slab in a small corner section to access the pipe. The yard looked great after the job and the water was back on with no issues. Our bills since suggest they fixed the issue. We chose copper piping per their recommendation with the hope that this is the final fix. We recommend them enthusiastically for this type of work."

"*Do not use anyone else for plumbing, trust me. They are the best.* I have twice now gotten estimates for water backup and in both cases other plumbing companies have quoted us insane amounts and in both cases Mike's has come through with low or no cost. They are honest, they remember you as a client, and I have told anyone who will listen about their amazing service. The most recent incident I was about an hour from leaving town and the water started to backup in my drains. I called Mike's but they couldn't come immediately so stupidly I called another company. That company did come out eventually. I wasn't there, I had a friend come. By the time I got on the phone they had freaked her out and said it was going to be $8,900, they would need to replace a bunch of line (no reason given) break up the concrete, call the city, etc. At that point I told them I needed a 2nd opinion so they invoiced me $560 for coming out and scoping the line. That is all they did, camera the sewer line. I was very confused by the invoice as it stated they cleared the line (they didn't), inspected the crawl space (also no) and the charge for the camera inspection was $559 (what? Most companies charge appx $100). When I got home I called Mikes and Cody came out immediately. He scoped the line no charge, cleared what was essentially just a clog, and gave us a really reasonable estimate for some pipe work that needs to be done eventually that was 1/3rd of the cost of the other company. At this point I will not use anyone else, and I am sharing my experience so people do not waste their time and money. They are fair, they respond immediately when they can, and they just don’t charge people for what they don’t need to. I cannot say enough good things. Thank you Cody, Caitlin, and Mike’s!"

"Outside line from laundry was relined and an outside clean-out was installed- work was done in 2014. When drain line started backing up recently, I had a different company come out to clear the drain, thinking it was a simple matter of hair and lint build-up. They were unable to clear the drain, because they discovered that the drain was broken and filled with mud! My understanding is that a reline should last quite a bit longer than 6 years. I called NW sewer on December 29 and it's been nearly two weeks and I haven't received the promised call back from the owner."

"Allied put an interior drainage system in my basement several years ago. Paul is a fast-talking, conniving man who will take no responsibility ever, for any work that was done poorly even with a warranty. He will deny, deny, deny endlessley and come up with the most ridiculous things and will try turn everything around on you no matter what it is. I had him out within the first year after the project because the concrete was cracking. Insects were coming in through my basement floor which used to be in great condition before they cut it and did poor concrete work. At that time he said it was fine and left. I should have known that now, several years later, when I had him out again because the concrete is even worse and has raised up about 1/8 of an inch, that he would have the same useless response. I'm about to install tile and the tile installer has told me that it's going to crack the tile especially because it's continuing to move. Paul will say anything to avoid responsibility. It must be a tree root, he said, even though there are no trees anywhere around. Then he'll say that it's not cracking even though I and others can see it with our eyes. Then he'll say that he can fix it for a fee even though I have a 10 year warranty. Then he'll say concrete cracks, even though the rest of the concrete in the basement is 100 years old and is not cracked, nor are the other areas that they did. Just the one area that he's denying is even cracked. Then he'll say well, it must be your floor that's moving, nothing is wrong with the concrete we did. No, my original floor is still in the same place and looks great, to which he says, how do I know? Don't waste your time. Go with a different company. If things go wrong, you can't rely on this company to do the right thing and your warranty is useless.. I had to tell Paul to get out of my house because he was yelling at me and talking down to me like I must be stupid as if I must be seeing a crack that doesn't really exist. Other contractors who have looked at it said it should not be cracking. And the contractor who was here asked Paul if they used rebar, to which Paul replied no, nobody ever does. Another lie. Then he couldn't believe that I told him to get out of my house. If you're going to be an ahole, expect to receive it in return. As he was going out the door, he turned and demanded to know what I do for a living. I had to tell him to get out of my house again. It doesn't matter what I do Paul, but I can tell you that I take responsibility for the services I provide and I do not lie to my clients faces. What a rude little man and completely incapable of doing the right thing. I already knew that before I had him out the second time. Don't let him fool you when he comes out to give you the initial bid. He's real helpful when he's going to get money out of you but he is slimy and conniving and cannot be trusted when things go wrong. The pictures are from today. The epoxy was just put on the other day by the tile guys but they think that it's hollow underneath. When they tap on it it feels hollow and moves a bit like there's no gravel under it and the epoxy just went in endlessly for the same reason so the gap can't be filled because there's nothing inside of there. But of course Paul said that's not true either. They also sloped a corner upward which is going to affect doing flooring and then Paul denied that too and said that it's not really like that I'm just making it up. Then he told me it must have already been like that. I told him it wasn't. He said well how do you know that, and that he doesnt don't know that so therefore it must not have been. Because it's my house Paul and I saw the floor before you got to it and ruined the Integrity of it. There was a contractor there with me witnessing all of this rediculousness and he could not believe this man lying to our faces and taking no responsibility."
