"Eventually the part was ordered once it was determined who would pay for the part and labor. There was confusion as to whether the factory warranty was still valid (it was). The appliance dealer verified to Big Jack that the warranty was valid.
When the part arrived it had been damaged in shipment and was returned and replaced.At this time we were gone for 3 weeks on vacation.When we returned Big Jack was notified we were home.
An appointment was scheduled and the part was promptly installed.
It took nearly six weeks from start to finish but this was not Big Jack's fault.

On an whim, I called Bruce's Air, and he came in and said it doesn't need to be replaced, just this part. He replaced the part, and everything was fixed.
