"Hugo and his crew saved the day and my tight schedule. I originally scheduled Coit to clean and seal a very dirty tile and grout floor in a kitchen family room and Hallway. The representative arrived 1.5 hrs late. Then declined to do the job. I was beyond livid. Before the guy was in his truck I was looking for a replacement on HomeAdvisor. I got a call back within 5 minutes and Hugo and team arrived as promised an hour later. Not only did they clean and seal the floor. Hugo said he could do much more. He did everything I had listed in my timeline that I didn't think was possible to do yet. He cleaned some blinds in place others he took with to clean off site. He took the draperies to clean off site, he took two large nasty area rugs to clean off site. He cleared the furniture out of the living room and steam cleaned the carpet, he steam cleaned the walls and the celling in the family room to prep them for painting. They were amazing, they were a blessing when i desperately needed one. I didn't take before pics because it was too gross. But I sent the amazing after pictures to every one who knew what I have been dealing with. He talked to me about the other services he provides and offered recommendations for things he doesn't do. I am still amazed at what was accomplished in just a few hours. The team was respectful, polite and careful. I was feeling overwhelmed by my situation. but not anymore. I know I have someone I can rely on for anything I need done large or small. I'm ready to tackle the next task and will be calling to schedule an appointment in the next day or two."

FAQs for garage door opener repair or adjustment projects in Rancho Cordova, CA

Garage door costs range somewhat broadly, depending on the type you choose. However, you’ll also need to factor in labor costs, which vary from state to state and between pros.

A chain driven operator costs between $150 - $250. For a belt driven operator it is usually $160 - $450. A screw-driven operator is between $250-$500.

To keep garage door opener repair costs down, you should check that the whole apparatus is working normally on a regular basis. This means making sure that the tracks of your door are greased and fully operational, and that the door itself is in good condition.

Installing a new garage door opener runs from $250 to $500 at least. If your repair costs are close in cost to that range or if your garage door is 10 to 15 years old, you should probably replace it instead of repair.

However, it’s a better idea to fix your garage door opener if it’s less than eight years old or if repair costs are less than replacing.

Garage door openers usually last between 10 and 15 years. However, several factors contribute to how long your garage door opener can last. If you schedule regular inspections and practice proper care, you can maximize your garage door opener’s lifespan, saving money in the long run. As a general rule, practice the same care for your garage door opener as you would the door itself.

These tell-tale signs indicate your garage door is going bad, including:

  • Not closing or opening at all

  • The door reversing when you try to open and/or close it

  • Inconsistent opening and closing; more noise than usual (grinding, scraping, or banging)

  • Sticking or stalling when you try to open or close it

If you experience one or more of these signs, it’s time to call a professional garage door repair service.
