"Fireplace was fine (OPPOSITE of what I had been told by another chimney sweep).  Oil burner side ...not so good.  Flue was heavily cracked and deteriorated.  Entire flue pieces laying at base.  Since this could be a carbon monoxide hazard and I quite often have small children in the house, I didn't think it was anything I should let go unresolved (although I was NOT anticipating spending a couple of thousand dollars at the time).
Bottom line:  New stainless steel liner put in.  Liner secured and resealed top and bottom.  New cap installed - and cracked top cement crown on chimney was replaced with a rubberized product.  Warranty on liner is transferable with the house when/if sold.
While I was not thrilled about hitting my emergency fund for something that you can't SEE, obviously it was important to get it done.  I was eligible for a Senior discount (am I the only one THRILLED to be older when a Senior discount is offered)?  You hit a certain age ... every penny saved helps.
Jon Paul was wonderful.  Not a pushy sales person.  Straight and to the point.  Explained everything in detail.  Personable.  My 4 year old great niece was with me for an overnight visit and she immediately took to him.  (Pay attention to the little ones ~ they're very good judges of character).

"The experience was good with some bad spots. The owner was very prompt in returning my call. He was very good at accommodating my time frame and he was able to work me in even if he was leaving for vacation. I also thought that his price was reasonable. He was very neat and tidy on the job. The finished product on a whole was good. There was just too much caulk for my taste so I was not very satisfied. I hate caulk. I think that there was lack of communication on one point and I ended up with something that I absolutely hate. If he had asked me, the problem would not have occurred. It had to do with the way that the corners were not mitered. It was pretty major since I hate the way it looks and I have to figure out something to disguise the unmitered corners on the crown moldings which is not really easy to do. I was left with the options of ripping it down, buying more products and having it redone and dealing with fixing up where the caulk rips off with the paper on the wall and all that. I did not like my choices."

"The Premier Siding and Roofing Company spent one full day and four hours next day completing our roof replacement job, both house and shed and also did some siding repair. The work was needed due to bad hail damage.   Kevin Juarez, a storm damage specialist, with his team - a group of eight workers - worked with us to make the entire repair process painless, even negotiating with our home insurance adjuster. We didn’t need to discuss much with the adjuster and received the initial check in one week. Kevin was both professional and personable. He listened and took notes for our special requests and followed through. Kevin was detail-oriented as well. He personally replaced one damaged lamp at the back of our house, the hale damaged shutters on our shed, and had the window screens replaced and installed in a few minutes. He also made sure that his team fixed the siding and caulked the leaks on the portico of the house.   Besides Kevin, Louis was a very sincere workmen lead. He led a group of cooperative and conscientious workers. They worked hard and did the job seriously (almost without break). Considering the heat and the Covid situation, I think they did a professionally great and good looking job.   Before they left, they cleaned up the deck, the patio, the driveway and the window sills, and moved back the planters, the water hoses and decorations to their original spots. They used rolling magnetic bars to collect the nails spreading around the house. They even used cleaning spray to wipe off the dark spots on the cement caused by the debris of the roofing.   Two thumps up!"

"The first guy needed a part. The second guy came with the part, fixed it and tested to make sure it was working correctly. He seemed very competent and explained what he did. The cost was fair and better than other providers. He cleaned up when he was done. He also explained the various maintenance contracts."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. "I made an appointment for them to come out on 11/12/19 to take a look at my chimney, which was detiriorating badly from the inside. I had another company come out prior but wasn't satisfied with their estimation. I was told straight up that what I needed to have done would be a big job because of the length of time the problem had been occurring and any possible unknown factors that could arise during the job completion (all of which I researched for myself as a precaution). Long story short, I agree to do the work at a VERY reasonable price (based on the average price cost to do the job) and set up an appointment for 11/20/19 to run from 9am until 6pm. These guys were on time and did an amazing job. Like, I am really, REALLY, REALLY impressed. Having been jerked around and screwed over by so many contractors; it's refreshing to meet some that say what they mean, mean what they say and do what they say they're going to do....and are honest!"

"They really did an exceptional job. The deck rebuild was a complicated job. The deck wasn’t built correctly originally so CM Contracting had to extensively modify the structure. They really did a great job. The deck looks really great, and I think I now have the strongest deck in the Lehigh Valley. The chimney work was a big concern of mine going into the job. The previous owner of the house let the chimney cap rust, and the rust stains ran down the Dryvit. It really looked bad. Chris worked with his paint supplier to get the color to match perfectly. He had Sherwin Williams out to my house on several occasions because Chris wanted it done right. It far exceeded my expectations, and now looks perfect. The caulking and power washing all went well too. I would highly recommend CM Contracting. Chris is very responsive. We would communicate often via phone or txt. His crew is great too.
