"He talked to the owners about the situation and they talked to me. They offered to replace the door and bear that cost and I would pick up the $350 installation cost. I felt that was more than fair, as I had been using the door for so long. They ordered a new door and installed it 2-3 weeks later. During the install, the service guy noticed the stucco under the door had been wet and completely deterioated and had to be replaced. It was a small area and had happened most likely because the old door frame was cracked and allowing moisture to leak in. CZ had a stucco contractor out the next day and did a great job of repairing the stucco, including doing a good job of matching the exterior paint color. The stucco was repaired by E. (Eddie) Medina Plastering in Clovis or Fresno). I'm super happy with the new glass patio door; I believe it's a better quality door than the original! And what's really cool is, CZ did all this without any need to negotiate or be pushy or even complain. Their first and only goal was to make me whole and happy with the job.
