"Steve was able to save us money by ordering cabinets from a company that makes and finishes the cabinets in their warehouse versus having the cabinets custom built. We were wanting to have the healthier woods and finishes due to building a healthy house, and he was able to confirm that the wood was untreated; the finishes were not, which I ended up regretting as I initially reacted to the toxins coming out of them, but it has improved over time as it has outgassed. Steve has a wonderful shop with nice samples, but I ended up having to hire someone to help me with the selections as he wasn't able to understand exactly what we were wanting which ended up costing a bit more for this consulting, but he was able to find and order everything that we selected with this assistance. We appreciated all of the samples that he let us borrow which helped in matching other colors in the home. Steve did an excellent job of installing the cabinetry, bookcases, school room desk, and entertainment center. It all looks absolutely splendid and totally suits the needs of our family. The only things that didn't go well were that it took a bit too long to get the cabinets ordered (I already thought they had been ordered long ago and then he called us to meet and sign off on them). Also, one of the bathroom cabinets wasn't originally measured correctly and had to be reordered which slowed up the granite being laid. We asked for the cabinets to be placed in the garage a few weeks to outgas and air out, but they were not totally removed from their boxes. But overall Cahaba Cabinets did a fine job and we're very pleased with the final product. Steve has come back to fix anything that needed fixing or adjusting. Sometimes he is hard to reach, but he eventually gets the job completed and is a perfectionist at his work which we really like. The cabinets are beautiful and my family is loving our new school room-it's so organized! The built-in entertainment center next to the fireplace looks fantastic! All of the wonderfully organized and sturdy kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom cabinets are wonderful and we're loving all of the space that they provide for us. Another thing that I really was grateful for was a pull-out trash can lid that I had asked him for; he said he didn't think that one existed, but a month or so later he called me back saying that he had found one! I thought he had forgotten all about it, but he was great at attending to the small details."

"We found Palace of Glass paneling products as we were finishing remodeling our house and were looking for some final accents for murals and doors. We ordered several decorative glass panel that we inserted into existing frames. The size matched exactly, we enjoy those textured designs on the daily basis. I would buy from them again. <br />"

"They were good to work with and sales. But, not good to help you if you have issues. My cabinets paint is peeling at the borders. He said it was sprayed and couldn’t match the color. I have some discoloration on my island wood. They said there was nothing they could do. I spent over 30,000. They need to be able to help with touch ups. 6 years old. Cook and use my kitchen everyday."

"We were very satisfied with their work. There was one little issue with little sparkles on the floor and we wanted a few more put down. They came out and did as we asked. As they were installing one of the doors, they forgot to shut the door and put the garage door down and there was a ding in one of the doors and they replaced that door at their cost, not ours."
