"Our backyard drainage is so poor that even a small rain caused our yard to become a swamp. After fighting this for nearly twenty years we finally decided to bite the bullet and get a professional company to design a drainage solution that would permanently dry up our yard. We invited two highly respected companies to design solutions to fix our yard. Both companies were major operators in our area and had stellar reviews. We left the designs up to each company and ultimately chose Premium Drainage & Erosion Solutions LLC. Adrian met with us and spent the time to really understand our requirements, not only to solve the drainage but also create an attractive element in our landscaping. Their crew was very professional and respectful of our property and clearly took pride in their work. The final design was a fairly complicated combination of open and covered French drains all leading to an existing underground stormwater management system. The crew, led by Renee’, took great care in executing the design as well as modifying it as necessary to integrate into our existing underground infrastructure, i.e., sprinkler system, gas line and downspout/sump pump drains. These guys knew what they were doing and made sure we were informed of any issue that they encountered and their proposed solution. Our yard was in great hands. They even took the time to hand lay each river stone that covered the open French drains resulting in a very attractive addition to the landscape. Once everything was fully installed, the crew went the extra mile to clean up any mud or dirt left in the grass and left our landscaping in better shape than they found it. We are extremely happy with the job that Premium Drainage & Erosion Solutions did for us. They went the extra mile to make sure we were more than satisfied with their work. I also had someone come out and give me an estimate for shrub removal and re-sodding my front & side yards (front needed grading after removal of a large tree this summer and I'm planning a complete re-do of the shrubbery by the house). "Backyard Ponds is magic. I have a small backyard pond,stream and waterfall that have been
leaking for years. Various workmen had poured concrete into it, slathered mortar
between stones and sprayed special waterfall foam all over the sides of it. My
pond, stream and waterfall continued to leak. Hilary of Backyard Ponds looked at it for a while, moved one
stone and fixed the leak. How did you do that! I yelled. Well after you work on
enough of these things you get an eye for what the problem could be. Then she
vacuumed all the mud that had been clogging the pum , reattached the waterline
and pump that I could never get to stay together, restacked the rocks along the
edge of the stream so they actually sat on top of each other instead of sliding
down at all angles, and added a few strategically placed rocks to hide the pump
and waterline and cover the rubber sides of the stream. She added a regulator to
the water line so I could make the water run fast and slow. And more. I have had
a pond and stream for fifteen years, and many people have worked on it, from
expensive professioanl landscapers to guys I would swear the contractor picked
up off the street corner. The difference in using someone who specializes in
ponds is stunning. Backyard ponds is

"Billy Willard promptly responded to my questions about removing an underground heating oil fuel tank from our yard. All permits and inspections were handled by his company. The actual project involved using hand digging and heavy equipment to excavate down to the tank; pumping out the oil that was in the tank; lifting and moving the tank from the yard through a just-big-enough opening in the fence; taking soil samples for state environmental protection agency assessment; inspection of the excavated tank and the hole by a Fairfax County fire warden; filling in the hole with clean dirt, tamping down the new dirt, seeding the disrupted area; and removing the tank from our property with minimum disruption to the landscaping along the way. All in all, a lot bigger job than I had envisioned, but the Willard sons and the other crew made it all go smoothly due to their competence and professionalism.P.S.: The grass even sprouted in one week!"
