"This was the first time I used Angieslist to hire contractors and I was not fully sure about what to get. However, Munoz Construction and it’s professional team members really changed my view. From the start, Jose was very professional and clear about the task. He provided a clear proposal and the price for renovating our backyard deck. He was very responsive and timely in all of our communication. His team were also very considerate and diligent. The deck was done on time and Jose and his team addressed all our questions. I am confident and proud to call Jose for all our home maintenance and care in the future. Very respectfully, June 7, 2019 KB"

"I had numerous small, but complicated, home repairs and installations that needed expert craftsmanship. Jim the Handyman provided a specialist for each small project who performed work of exceptionally high quality. Every project was completed quickly, efficiently, and to the most exacting standards. Every team member was highly professional, but also friendly, courteous, and very respectful of my home. In addition, working with the front office team was easy and pleasant, and scheduling was a breeze. I will be directing all my future home repair and installation needs to Jim the Handyman. I cannot recommend any other organization more highly."

"Peter Michael Construction is a stellar company that we highly recommend. Our project was for a room buildout in our finished basement, which was considered “too small” by several companies. Peter, however, was interested. We met with him one morning to outline what we needed. He came back the same day with a cost estimate and contract. Peter had us review the work daily to ensure we understood the progress as well as any unexpected issues. We also had conversations about any changes we might want. He and his crew finished the project in six days. The cost was about average, neither the cheapest nor the most expensive; and we absolutely “got what we paid for.” He and his crew did superb work and were so pleasant to deal with. Consider this company highly recommended."

"Ruben, Johnny and Nancy of 2 Brothers Handyman Services, LLC, were trustworthy partners in renovating our two-bed, two-bath condominium. Our project involved demo and renovations of two full bathrooms, replacement of all hardwood floors, installation of light fixtures, replacement of damaged walls and insulation, and painting of all walls, trim and ceilings. The work took about two months and was competitively priced for the quality of services rendered. We found Ruben to be an extremely honest, fair and excellent partner. We were particularly impressed by: 1. Ruben’s creativity in finding solutions, including turning our extra bathroom space into a linen closet, and creating a trash bin drawer with our existing kitchen cabinets; 2. Custom woodworking, including customization of floating vanities and drawers, custom wall shelving and custom closet shelving; 3. How clean Ruben and his crew maintained the worksite through the project (Ruben noted he wanted the place to be safe and clean in the event that clients were to visit at any time); 4. How Ruben managed relationships with our condo board and our neighbors during the work; and 5. Ruben’s commitment to ensure we were happy with the work. We would highly recommend going with Ruben and would eagerly contract with him again. Ruben was always patient and dedicated to working through any issues, which underscore his commitment to his customers. Some examples include: 1. The project estimation process (i.e. scoping of work and contracting) took longer than expected. While there was a lot of back and forth, Ruben and Nancy were always very patient and responsive during this time and throughout the duration of the project. 2. There were one or two items that we needed to point out to be corrected (e.g. paint splatter and a tile installation error). When we raised these issues, Ruben quickly address them, consistently noting he wanted us to be happy. 3. There were items that we were responsible for supplying (e.g. closet door and grout), which resulted in some back and forth because we needed more information to make an informed purchase (e.g. closet door needed to include casing, grout needed to be a single component sealing grout). Because we did not get specific instructions, it may have caused time delays – but Ruben was very graceful and flexible, sometimes working on weekends and late into the night to accommodate our project timeline. Based on our experiences here are two things that made our partnership productive: 1. Have daily discussions with Ruben, either onsite or over the phone. This was very efficient for us to be aligned with the work that was happening that day (e.g. to jointly make big and small decisions) and to troubleshoot expected and unexpected issues. 2. Ask these questions when securing the quote: (1) Will this project require permits? (2) What will be the order of the work, and when will materials be needed that the client is responsible for purchasing? All and all, we are so thankful to Ruben for treating our home like his own and for making the place beautiful. For their quality craftmanship, insightful guidance, unwavering dedication to their customers, and positive attitude, we highly recommend Ruben and the 2 Brothers team for all your home improvement needs. We feel that we have found the contractor we will want to work with over and over again, and we cannot wait to invite him to our housewarming party so he can meet all of our family and friends and be recognized for the great work he and his team have done!"

"This was my first major renovation project as a homeowner, and I am extremely satisfied with the process and results. Stephen and his team were flexible, communicative, and responsive. They were also happy to answer any of my questions along the way. It was a pleasure working with them, and the final product looks flawless. I highly recommend Capstone Remodeling."

"All Renovations was hired to add a carport and a new sunroom addition to our home. They were priced reasonably, worked closely with us on all of the permitting and planning needs, assisted with multiple decisions that normally come up on a large project such as this, and were polite, friendly and very easy to work with. Overall, we are extremely happy with the finished project and we would recommend them to anyone."

"We had a master bathroom completely gutted and remodeled. Sean designed the layout and Jason was the project manager. We were very impressed with the level of quality in everything from the initial design to the final result. The minor issues that did come up were resolved very thoroughly. Would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a major remodel project."

"“I strongly recommend JW Home Improvement for all home repair and renovation needs. Over the past few weeks we have had various projects completed, including, exhaust fan installation, stairwell repair, dry wall repair, exterior dormer and trim replacement and gutter/downspout painting. All of the technicians were friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, respectful, highly skilled and operated efficiently to finish ahead of scheduled time. Pedro, Kevin and Antonio in particular were exceptional in going above and beyond to produce truly beautiful work. The craftsmanship and precision displayed by these technicians was extraordinary and they were an absolute pleasure to have in my home.”"

"Omar and his team led by foreman Juan Carlos have done half a dozen projects around my 120-year old row house in NW DC, and the results are fantastic every time. They built a master closet, which involved moving walls, re-routing ductwork and electrical, and finishing and painting. They also redid my living room, which involved troubleshooting and repairing an old fabric-wire circuit, installing a mounted TV with hidden wiring, and finishing and painting. The jobs were quick and affordable and resulted in top-quality, long-lasting results. I’ll be trusting them to build my new double-decker covered porch scheduled for later this year. Thanks Omar, Juan Carlos, and Bonifacio!"
