"Greg was very informative and had pictures of the products available to replace my old roof. He matched the shingles to a more recent shed that was built which was great. Responds promptly to text and kept me informed through the entire process. The crew working on my roof were very polite, hard working and you’d never know they had been to my house. "After an initial quote was agreed upon he (Zak) started on 5/24/25 on front porch which took awhile due to weather. It was completed 6/5/25. He (Zak) started on back porch/deck 6/5/25 and upon another inspection found 1 deck board the needed to be replaced. He continued working sanding the deck and did remove the 1 board to be replaced. After a few hours he said he was done for the day. He later sends a text and ask to pay the $124.34 for deck screws and board. All I asked was for to see receipt of material for the board. That resulted in him (Zak) telling me that’s a good price and it could and will be more if I do agree and pay this amount ($124.34). He also said that he thought that was a “**** good price”. I didn’t appreciate him speaking to me that way and the whole conversation is better told in text messages. All I want now is for someone else other than this (Zak) to just complete the job according to original contract."

"Shawn is very hardworking and honest. We were very impressed with his determination to complete tasks well and in a timely manner, even when the weather was very hot. His goal was to please us, help us with wise advice to work through some areas without creating more problems for ourselves, and was always kind and friendly. He has been willing to readdress the very small areas that seemed to need it at no added cost, even when it proved not to be the direct result of his work (new gutters stopped up faster than expected, so he cleaned them out for us)."

"During the month of November, I was searching for a contractor to renovate my bathroom. In the process of looking, I stumbled upon KPS contracting, and I am glad I did. They are very diligent in their work, making sure to keep on task until the job was done. The finished product also exceeded my expectations. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"I have used Ken Berg on many projects over the lastfifteen years. The projects included: a two story addition to my home approx. 1200 square feet (about $38,000), gutting two rooms in my home and rebuilding them (house is over 80 years old), converting a small room to a beautiful home office for the wife and me, constructed a stand alone pool house with bar kitchenet and full bath about 800 square feet (about $35,000), constructed a storage house for my wife's stuff about 300sq. ft., completely gutted and remodeled a rental house of ours (about $30,000), built a custom designed play house/jungle gym for our grand children which was a gift for this Christmas 2012 about $1700+. Ken has also performed minor repairs and property/yard maintainence over the years. I have used other contractors on other properties and projects depending on the job and location but we can always depend on Ken Berg to get things exactly the way we want them. We never have to compromise our ideas. He is never the cheapest bid nor the highest bid. There is never any problem when I make changes/adjustments/additions during a project.

"Luke did an EXCELLENT job! His estimate was fair and didn't change mid-job. He was at my home every day at the time he said he would be and worked through the day and kept us abreast of his progress and what he would be doing the next day. Every day when he left, he cleaned up anything he used and left no mess (really we left a bigger mess). He removed the shelving systems in the closets and replaced them when he was done, moved all the heavy appliances and furniture and really, once he left, we were left with a beautiful home and no signs he was ever there. He is professional, polite and a very talented young man. We already have plans to hire him for additional projects. Choosing this young man would not be a mistake. We are amazed at the work he did and this was definitely money well spent. Thank you for your work Luke!"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.
