Instead, the electrician took the time to ask a few questions and patiently guided me through troubleshooting over the phone. He helped me locate a forgotten GFCI outlet in my basement that had tripped and was causing the problem. Once I reset it, everything worked perfectly. Many electricians could have charged me for a house call to perform a 30-second fix. Instead, R.A.P. chose honesty and customer service over making a quick dollar.
